Thing is, ever since they switched to age-based leagues, the amount of people bringing dots out of PeeWee into regular/casual leagues is almost non-existent. Before then at least SOME would (using slow build and stuff). So the game changed... but GLB didn't change with it. What REALLY needs to happen to PeeWee is to reduce to 2 leagues (Regular and Champion), have an option that automatically recycles PeeWee dots (a check box when building that you would have to "UN-check" if you wanted to keep your dot beyond PeeWee), and other optional "auto" abilities (like team renewal). Stuff that makes doing PeeWee much easier than it is today... and much simpler.
All that said... I simply don't think GLB figures it's worth their time and effort to make the changes needed since what they have works (badly, yes... but it works). Sorry Guy.

This is exactly it, along with the depleted player base. There use to be 25 pretty much full peewee leagues, now I don't think there is even enough teams to fill two.

I used to love PW but to be honest, penalties killed it for me.

The minimum would be 3 leagues and I think that is cutting it a bit short. Should probably be 4 or 5 leagues (5 being overkill, tbh).

PW is designed for those who like a 1&done league and don't have to build for long term. We can change our team dynamic each and every season. If I want to build a balanced CB, ie one with 1st cap Speed, Agility, and Vision, I can and not worry about that hurting his long term development. I also like to play other teams who can do the same as PW teams generally destroy Rookie teams due to their unbalanced builds.

While I love some of the suggestions here, like make PW a pure no-no league, it's NGTH as any suggestion needs to generate more flex through direct sales or higher interest, and that suggestion would likely reduce flex spending.

What GLB needs to realize is that not everyone wants to spend a lot of flex and level a lot of players and/or teams up season after season. They need a place where people can enjoy 1&done seasons without a heavy flex investment and that would generate interest for GLB as a whole. Right now PW does that, but it could be a lot better as a lot of people don't like the low level 1&done. While it's likely NGTH, a mid to high level 1&done league would likely generate a TON of interest and probably bring a lot of people who quit back to GLB. But to implement that, a lot of coding changes would need to happen and I just don't think GLB wants to spend the time or money on that. Their loss...

Cost is killing pee wees. I really believe they should come up with some creative pay structure.
- Current cost for a pee wee team is 400 flex
- 55 dots (29 offensive, 24 defense, a P and K) costs 10,900 flex
- Practice Squad is 100.00 for 15,000 flex which will cover all expenses but not boosting
- could get two packages Professional and Booster pack to cover cost at 80.00
- That means you need 80 dollars up front just to start a team

Not sure if GLB knows this but the economy is in the crapper for the most part. People just don't have the funds to play at such a high cost of playing. Days of having multiple agents is unrealistic. Most agents are gone. Message boards are dead. I think to somehow revive the game they have to cut costs. How do you do this though? Isolate pee wee to it's own form of a game.

New cost structure
- Create a Pee Wee bundle package
- Season fee for the Pee Wee Bundle cost 25 dollars (much lower up front cost needed)
- In doing so there will be no refund on player retirement
- Bundle includes one and done players only (Auto retire day 41)
- Bundle includes 55 dots of any position.
- Players are locked from boosting until making playoffs
- Custom is still optional
- Current teams can select Pee Wee bundle package from day 41 to day 0 or play with cpu

Finally cut the leagues to Gold
2 Silver leagues

* Less is more*
Yes this lowers the commitment cost of 80 dollars to 25 but the auto retirement and no flex back is the "meet me in the middle from the consumer"

TLTR - Lower the upfront cost of pee wee teams to 25.00 from the current 80-100

I really doubt flexies are the reason PeeWee is flailing. Cost has nothing to do with my disinterest in PeeWee.

My disinterest is
a) The dots are too slow at that level for PeeWee to be enjoyable.
b) Time-related to train/maintain dots that provide minimal entertainment value to me (related to PeeWee dots being so slow). I'm putting time into dots I'm just going to retire. It's a burden to manage a lot of dots, especially when it comes to EQ.

Just because you don't like and obviously don't get peewee doesn't mean others don't. Peewee is not failing because people like you don't like it, that is why it is not recovering. Most of those that played peewee went broke or quit. A couple seasons of boosting 55 players can put a big hole in your wallet. Peewee is all about recycling players and making a fresh start every season. That was the point of peewee.

Peewee use to have 8 jam packed silver leagues and 16 copper leagues that were 70+% human. No one there complained about it being too slow, and too this day I never here that from those who actually play it.

It is failing because those that liked it left due to cost compared to value and that it is no longer a viable entry level league.

This season there are less dots in rookie than prep for the first time I can remember (perhaps it happened during a season when major game changes were going on). Its not a Pee Wee issue, its a game issue. At least in my opinion.
