but only the bottom 4 should get demoted.
add to those 8 the teams that gut every other season and you have about 8-10 teams to promote .. more than enough!

I vote for 4 automatic demotions from each CPL conference, and automatic promotions for the 8 teams that make it to their Elite conference championship game.

I think the only time an RPC team gets a promote is when another CPL team restarts or disbands and support decides that they are more deserving than any of the leftover RPE teams.

For more on this point, if a team gets put in RPC, but they feel they have a good enough team to make the conference championship in elite, they can message support and will almost certainly be able to get in there. Which makes sense in terms of promotions, no reason that a team should be allowed to take an easier route than everybody else.
