Yes, we did get beat through the air often, and we couldn't do much in the run game as we couldn't break tackles. The game plan wasn't bad though, if you watch the game, you'll see their receivers constantly winning jump ball battles and our receivers constantly losing them. So what in the sim determines that if not their height and stats?

My power HB breaks on average 1 tackle per rush. In this game he broke 1 tackle per 5 rushes on average, against a much lower level team. That is not based on game planning, that is just stats. So that doesn't make sense to me.

Eh, three things tell me the gameplan was, in fact, bad... the 27-0 final score, the high number of big gains by the Knights offense, and as Romo pointed out the high number of TFLs notched by the Knights defense.

This really has "didn't take under-leveled opponent seriously" written aaaaaaaall over it.

Like I said before, PM the owners of the Huskies and the Knights and ask them both what happened. You'll learn more from them then you'll learn from us chuckleheads in this thread.

Sometimes I have to wonder whether you are just trying to purposefully spread misinformation or just don't really know any better.

Low EL means that they might also have a ton of points into SAs. People neglect how important SAs are to a build. If your team isn't that great to begin with (Competitive league instead of Elite) you can give up plays to teams with AEQ, and SAs.

Also if their VAs are better planned out than yours, you will lose. Like having streaky/slow starter on a speedster WR. Are you telling me that your D is prepared for an 11% boost to all attributes?

Now, losing by a few scores even happens between teams of Elite calibre. I lost to North Side Mob four or five times in the last two seasons, usually by 14+ points. Yesterday I beat them by 35 points coming back from being down by 3 at the start of the 4th quarter. RNG can make a big difference to the outcome.

Define sim-fucked:

Take pass blocking archetype O line as an example, you could build one to match the effective levels you see on run blocking archetypes, but he would have weakness that allow more sacks.

That is absurd.

You're wrong. jdbolick has declared that previously-undefeated Comp-league teams are actually quite awesome, and he's never wrong, of course.

You know, I thought so also, until I saw it happen. Even worse had to have the weakness pointed out to me by rogers. Not that there's anything wrong with him, just thought I knew what was needed before his messages.

No, I mean you're wrong. What you said was ludicrously untrue.

Since I'm saying it is true, then it is unless you can prove the facts my statement rests on are flawed, which you haven't, you don't even know them so I assume you are making statements based on your perceptions. There's one thing about perceptions, they are rarely based on fact. Instead based on ones experiences and if those experiences don't include all the facts, then they are flawed.

You mean besides being in the WL forever and seeing tons of pass archetypes with ELs on roughly the same level as run blockers that were stellar pass protectors? What you said was dumb, dude. Let it go.
