Yeah, it's like less than 1% of the game.

There are plenty of things you can criticize about dpride, but trying to diminish his dotball significance is ridiculous. He was later to the game than most of us and has remained relevant for an astonishingly long time.

Also, it's worth mentioning that I have no idea what "solution" there could be to the network problem. As noted, I would never support forcing people to put their dots on a team other than the one they want. Maybe if GLB had frowned upon networks and distinguished them from farm teams it might have discouraged that phenomenon, but maybe not. It's also worth mentioning that this is obviously not a new thing for me since I've been bitching about networks longer than anyone.

Now ur being retarded. Try actually reading what I responded to. "I fought tooth and nail for everything and willed myself to 3 wl champions". I don't think taking over the Blaze network is him fighting tooth-and-nail. He can go fuck himself with his "i started playing GLB s5 so everything is hard for me" shit. Obv Dpride is good at GLB (albeit a scumbag). My quote is moreso about him pretending he didn't get gifted what was at the time one of the 2-3 best teams/networks in GLB, which was HUGE part of the first WL title he got like a season later.

Solution to networks is making the GLB building process more intuitive and actually advertising for new customers (who will enjoy the game, unlike current nubes that learn they need to pump 3 attributes for 9 months or they are told to "retire", which isn't fun at all as a new person playing this game). That isn't gonna happen, but this is the major thing that stops GLB from ever "growing" again.

A far far far 2nd, is making some good build guides (teaching good build processes) and making them free and widespread, teaching correct building concepts, not cookie-cutter results. This ends up with more people being able to build good dots.

Regardless, while networks don't help the problem, I think the huge disparity between player building abilities, and the ever declining userbase are far bigger issues to GLB, not just long term, but in the coming seasons.

Hell, I've owned an independent team that has had 3 crackpot farm teams in 32 seasons (which I've gotten like 35 dots off of in total). The rest is all PLFT recruiting. I can imagine a scenario where at some point in the coming seasons I won't be able to field a team. And if I can't field a team from PLFT, almost no one can. That is the death of the game, and it's coming sooner or later tbph. Had a good run ldo.

Why would you suggest that PierreThomas getting banned helped in any way? blln was already pretty irrelevant.

Your entire post has nothing whatsoever to do with networks.
