http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2332798&pbp_id=357011 = 80 yard TD vs a WL team. dat spd.

Pre-season scrims Asau is testing out a lot of fun stuff, but there should be many more highlights once the season actually starts.

use a ruler they both have the same distance to cover to get to the point the HB is running towards in the EZ

seriously how are you going to build a CB for WL and not finish with at least 160 spd?

But my HB got there first and didn't get tackled? I don't understand your argument.. Plus speed script says my guy max speeded at 43.66 compared to 39.05 ldo...

terminology.
when a WR outruns a CB and gets open for a catch, the CB got beat.
when a RB gets to the endzone first, he outran the CB to the corner.

the dif is, the CB is set up on the same line as the WR, assigned to cover him.
thats not at all the case with a RB sprinting to the endzone.

now, im not trying to claim the RB wasnt running faster than the CB on this play.
my point was, even at the same speed, the CB couldn't have caught up-
look he might have had a 3 or 4 yard head start towards the EZ-
but he's over 10 yards to his left and he has to make up also.
the geometry just doesn't work out. in this case the CB would have had to be
faster to catch him. not that i am at all disputing that the HB is running faster here anyhow.
just that if the CB has to catch someone basically from behind and be faster to do it
its not really fair to say 'he got beat', even if he'd have caught a slower player-
he was never really in position to make the play in this case.

i wouldnt say this is a case of the CB got 'beat'-
it was a case of 'he found daylight and they are never going to catch him'
again, its just terminology
