basically what I get is Dub is trying to bring back the pyramid system in a slightly different form. which if I am not mistaken has already been deemed NGTH.

Actually I was brainstorming/spitballing and edited those posts and moved most of their content to the op.

Let's just go back to those wonderful "hey, stop adding/taking away shit from my retired player that's been retired for 10 seasons" and "let's have an alert for ____" threads.

Dub what you are suggesting would be nice I personally liked the old pyramid style. but your suggestion is so close to what that was that I do not think Bort and Co would consider it. no offfense intended but you shouldn't get so butthurt that people don't just flock to support this suggestion. change it around to where it isn't almost the same as what has already been said as NGTH and maybe it will get some support.

I am a bit peeved because I have seen it posted in numerous places by numerous people that they are unhappy with the minor league names. Guess I'm just disappointed in the people that want this changed and then are nowhere to be found when it's suggested.

I don't follow regarding how this is bringing back the pyramid. I suggested renaming the leagues and nothing more. At no point did I suggest changing the league structure therefore this is not on the NGTH list. I think a few people are reading far too much into my suggestion rather than taking it at face value.

What's the difference between dropping non-comp league #2 from dropping "Mid South" or "Nile"? The admins wouldn't have to do anything they aren't doing now. Simply drop the league if it's not needed and pick it back up later when there are enough teams.

As for people not liking what their league is named...I'm sure most would be much happier with playing in a league named "Nile" or "Midwest" than Prep League #4. I really don't see people complaining about it.

As far as confusion, I don't see how "Mid South", "Siberia", "Nile", ect... is more confusing than University Competitive #2, University Competitive #3, University League #4. It's actually the opposite imo.




It's keeping the same structure, just changing the names to something a bit more pleasing to the eye.

you are possibly right to a extent I based my thoughts on the names you used as examples and went from there. personally I do not care what the leagues are named as long as the leagues have competitive games and we do not go back to those times of 255 to 0 games each and every game.

My team is in elite. Our first game was a 122-0 win and we had chem in the low 70s. Our next three games are against two non-boosters and a CPU. I'm still not seeing how the cloud changed anything.

maybe not alot in the lower levels because you will have a bunch of crappy teams and owners at the lower levels that gut and re-start alot. but the good teams will rise through the cloud and soon Pro and even regional Pro leagues should get stronger and stronger. atleast hopefully

The main problem in our age group is Bort has gone with elite and 2 comp leagues instead of 1 elite, 1 comp, and 1 non-competitive. The 3rd league being non-comp would keep the non-boosters and garbage teams out of elite. They would have been moved to comp and it would have stopped there.

true and I hope someday that Bort and Co starts lumping teams together like they should be. I mean seriously how hard would it be for Bort to put the non booster teams in 1 league and leave those teams together until they restart. if GLB would help those teams some then that would help the boosting teams as well. because most of the boosting teams want to play other boosting teams instead of facing teams we outlevel by 10 to 15 levels.

Yeah, I'm just wanting them to at least make some effort to improve the experience for everyone. Not just a tiny portion of the userbase. I think they forget that there are just shy of 3000 teams in this game. lol
