The issue is that most experimental build ideas have already been done. Occasionally someone discovers something interesting but I'd say about 95+% of the time these builds just confirm that the traditional way of building that position is the best way.

I'm OC'ng a back now that went AGL over SPD as first att. and he rocks - SAs firing all the time. I also remember a back that went CNF, STG and CRY and he was a beast up the gut. I think the key to going against the grain is to stick to the plan and don't try to make up for something later

I agree 100% You must stay with it and remain committed. Good things may just happen.

I'm not sure yet. I'm considering going a little lower in speed--140ish--and putting the rest into catching to see what that does.

What about player type ST OT but build as a rec TE. Has it been done? Trying it now but I really dont know what I am doing with a normal dots so. Most likely a waste.

Why wouldn't you just build a STOP combo TE? You are taking an OOP penalty pretty hard in the receiving game and getting no catching ALG's. Seems rather wasteful. Only thing you are hoping is that someone is silly and doesn't cover him. Which will not last long.

Catching first WR with Jumping second, only put in the game in redzone to make use of juke/catch fake/head fake/red zone freak/prime time player combos.
Returner with Carrying as primary attribute.
Pass blocker arch guard
Not a ton of success yet.

Pass block archs don't work as well at OG and C unfortunately. Not having strength as a major sucks pretty much and the pass blocking SA's are pretty meh. Either arch you go with though I suppose you are going to want to get strength and agility at or near 100 regardless. I guess one could make the argument of Max Protect VA but eh...better use of VA's.

Works better as a TE as you can actually pick and choose when hes in the game.
I did try an all RZ and late game offense for awhile too.
15 PTP
15 OT Killer
15 RZ Freak
on everyone in the starting lineup. Forced starters in the RZ. Also served meh for results. RZ Freak and OT Killer just kind served as a lot of wasted VA's for the most part.
