Would put cowboys in first.
9-7 (4-2) Cowboys
9-7 (4-2) Redskins
9-7/8-8 (3-3/2-4) Giants

Correct me if i'm wrong.

Cowboys win they win NFC East - lose they are done
Washington wins they win NFC East - lose and they need Bears and Vikings to lose and they get Wild Card
Giants cannot win the division, but get the wild card if they win and Dallas, Bears and Vikings all lose
Bears win WC if they win and Vikings lose
Vikings win and in

If Vikings, Bears, Giants and Cowboys all lose the Vikings get the WC

I think that's it

You're right.

You guys are forgetting points and division wins/losses

Not much more tbh. When a QB is better than only half of the starting QB's in the league, that is the very definition of "average".

I like to see Romo fail, and laugh at him as a Giants fan, but the alternative to him is really, really, really, bad QB play.

Even if he's just an average NFL starting QB...that still makes him 1 of only 16 people in the world that does that job as well as he does. And the performance dropoff from 16-32 is very steep.

If cowboys win redskins lose the tiebreakers. That's fact.

First tie breaker is division record - they would both be 4-2
2nd tie breaker is common opponents and they have more wins than we do
Points aren't an early tie breaker

really , I hope to be proven wrong here ....... but Romo , should've always been nothing other than a great back-up .... and JJ has always just been a very poor judge of QB talent .... wasting season's on baseball players and most recently , romo , the green bay packer fan ...

and there will always be the a$$ ki$$ers who say JJ is a god .... but if he doesn't EVER bring in any real competition for romo's job , how serious can he be ..... ? .... not very .... he's making too much money to worry about it ....

and yes , as mentioned , it is pathetic on romo's part to continually blame the rcvrs , backs and linemen for his personal flaws , i.e. his brief moments of semi-brilliance followed by hours of below par performance .... I'm not suggesting a bounty , but if TR got hurt the 'Boys might be better off in the long run ...

Why even worry about teams that won't make it past the first round?

Yup. they had trouble shutting down a bad Eagles team, and the Cowboys couldn't beat a decent Saints team. But I don't think the Redskins are ready for a playoff caliber team.
