All the oldheads need to calm down. He's trying to help; this is a good thing. Stop being bitter.

post guides on the public forums ...reply to questions on the public forums ...make it readily available to everyone ...the question that should be asked is "what's the purpose for keeping it 'in house'?"

Because do you realize how much work it would be to copy my AI's and all plays so they can be posted on the forums? It's also more helpful for people to see it in action.
As for my ego, sure, everyone has at least a bit of one, but I try to keep mine in check. So no, I do not have a hidden agenda. I have always been one who tries to help others in PW by sharing what I have learned. I have posted more helping guides than anyone and have not done any in a while, so doing this instead. It also gives me a reason to not try very hard with AZ and instead focus on my C85 team as I don't have a lot of time for this with a 2-year old and a 2-month old in the house.

well actually i do know how much work is involved, but giving agents access to your AIs doesn't help them to learn it ...they won't be taking notes, they will just transfer your AIs straight over to their personal AIs and won't have to do the work and learn the functions ...that just teaches them to be lazy ...if it was written on a forum, then they would at least have to construct it by themselves and would learn it in the process of writing it up ...would have been more ideal for you to be given an invite to their teams and then you could have shown them how to construct it from there but of course, that would be more demanding for you than writing it on the public forums

...yes it would be such a surprise if your AZ team did well again in PWG wouldn't it?

My thoughts:
1) People need to stop hating on Gerr. Dude fuckin' dominates and is offering to make everyone else better. Sure, it's a bit of an ego trip, but we all have fuckin' monster egos. It's an internet game. Monster egos come with the territory.
2) If you're a contender, you shouldn't be asking for access. I mean, I can't blame you for wanting to, but c'mon. Beat him on your own without him telling you how.

My thoughts:
1)gerr's looking for an excuse to keep his 2nd team in PWG after saying that he was going to let it go
2)1=hidden agenda

LE gave me an OAI way back in the day. It absolutely helped me learn. A few seasons later there were just hints of the original AI he gave me. AIs like everything else need adjustments from season to season. Jackson gave access to his a few seasons back to whoever wanted it. I want to play competitive teams and if this helps a few get a head start from what I had then I'm all for it.

A few seasons back I opened up everything I did on Flumps/SAS/Maine, D plays, OAI/DAI, tactics, builds, etc. You can copy plays all you want or build guides, its how you use them. Plus this game is dying, why not open it all up.
gj for doing it
