A&M vs. Bama.

I see. Ok well first of all that QB will probably win a Heisman trophy. Second not sure what them being supposedly a middle of the road school in the big 12 has to do with anything. Mediocre teams occasionally recruit really good players cf. Auburn (well they paid for him but you get the idea), Baylor would be another. Third being able to tell recruits they were going to be an sec team probably helped their recruiting and allowed them to get some players they would not have otherwise. Finally that A&M team is totally different than last season. Different QB different offense different coach. If they were in the Big 12 this season they would have dominated it.

1. The Heisman is a joke.
2. Those teams/players you named didn't succeed as freshmen. Tebow, Newton, VY, RGIII, all didn't have great freshmen seasons. Them picking up Manziel isn't the reason they went from mediocre in one conference to one of the top teams in another conference.
3. The players they are playing with right now were primarily recruited while they were still a Big 12 team. Sumlin is playing with Sherman's players.
4. Watching A&M, I can say they aren't much different than prior seasons. If they were in the Big 12, they'd be at best a 3 loss team.

1. The Heisman is a joke. Can't really argue that.
2. - Them picking up Manziel isn't the reason they went from mediocre in one conference to one of the top teams in another conference. Thats debatable.

If Manziel wins, they should just rename the Heisman the "Player with the best Stats"

I just like how a large number of Heisman contenders have lost the Heisman with a bad game, but he's playing for a two loss team with one loss being a 3 INT game on his part and he is the leader. It seems like everyone is just ignoring that LSU game.

Most of his big games came from the garbage SEC games too. But yeah the LSU game happened
