I can't think of one single reason to not allow the agent the option is all.

I agree with you, leave the option up to the player. I don't see why you don't get that. I am just saying, it will be exactly like builds. If your build is closed so no one can see it, what do you think is going to happen with your player if you don't open it? This would be the same with tactics.

Edit: Actually, I am not saying this, fogie55 and greengoose are. I am just agreeing.

If the agent gets benched than he can decide to open his tactics or find a new team. He will still get XP as long as he is on the roster so no harm would come of it. But do you how nice it would be for coordinators to be able to see player tactics when setting up their plays.

Do you coordinate? I see lots of teams under your GM'ed teams list but you have been with GLB for 3 full years and no accomplishments really so not sure if those are lol gm's are if you actually coordinate? Perhaps I am seeing it thru a coordinators eyes and your seeing it thru an agents eyes?

The tactics option should be there....period

I'm actually just getting back into the game, I have taken 2 long breaks and am still getting back up to date and such. And harm wouldn't be done, but what about the casual player or just a competitive player who wants to see their dot(s) play?

And I do coordinate, I know it would be nice to have this. I'm not saying it wouldn't...obviously you think I am. And I agree, the option should be there. But as the others said...it would later become mandatory, not in the way that the option would not be there, but that owners/coordinators would force it, which I now see that you understand. We have the same view, it would be good. It's just I am not so sure on it. It's good we can have some of these discussions though imo. Haha

Glad we agree. Its just no different than having the attribute showing option. If tactic showing option is bad than they shouldn't have the attribute showing option for the same reasons. They do have the attribute showing option though so they should have the tactic showing option for the same reasons.

Maybe I am understanding this wrong or you are understanding me wrong. You said 'It's only an option'. While it is only an option, if agents decide to keep their tactics unshared, the owner/coordinator will say 'Ok, I'll take you off the depth chart then'.

youre dumb.

im an owner, have owned a few teams for while. I'd never take someone off the depth chart because they didnt let GMs see theirs tactics because:
1. then the dots at the same position are getting too much playing time and will tire out
2. thats fucking idiotic
3. id only bench your players because youre a moron and dont understand shit.

Also not all owners are like you. Some owners will be complete douches and take you off the DC because you don't do something the way they like it. You've never seen agents complain about this?

for a* sorry.

was more into the whole "unless your owner sucks and likes to lose, you wont ever get pulled off the depth chart" argument.

ive seen shitty agents complain about it. guys who cant build, who dont respond to PMs, who complain non stop in team forums. no good agent will ever get benched unless you sign with a terrible owner. even then, its your fault for signing with a terrible owner.

even when people cry and complain in my team forum instead of PMing me about the stupidest shit like not enough plays in a blowout game.... cant do anything about then when everytime my O steps onto the field they score so you wont get many snaps. Instead of benching him and hurting the team, i just block them from the team forum. problem solved and team doesnt suffer.

i know, your mind = blown.

tl;dr version: implement this.

show me the last time someone complained about being benched because their owner was a dbag. That ended when full XP was given to all.

Some people just want to see dots run around and score TDs. It doesn't seem like much, but when you pay for something you want to get your money's worth. I understand XP would be getting your money's worth technically, sometimes you just want to see your dot play though.

Edit: But you are right. It isn't as big of a deal now that players get XP for being on the roster.

I mean that those things don't happen anymore because there is no threat in something like that. Regardless of whether the players tactics are hurting you or not, not playing them does only more damage to you as a team.
