Strength: 67.18 Blocking: 20.7
Speed: 49.33 Tackling: 32.93
Agility: 46.24 Throwing: 7
Jumping: 14.77 Catching: 8.47
Stamina: 30.63 Carrying: 9
Vision: 32.2 Kicking: 8
Confidence: 24.31 Punting: 8

in this one all equipment is on strenght. Ive tried with around 50 strenght and 55 agility didnt work, same with speed. I dunno, maybe this will help you.

that's similar to one of my de's that does just fine for pass rushing. i think the problem is you're in the LDE position. moving to RDE would have a bigger effect than any adjustment of custom equipment in my opinion. LDEs sometimes get double teamed on pass plays, RDEs don't. it also helps to have a good secondary that can keep the ball in the qb's hands a second longer

I have been most of the year, problem was the lde at the time was racking up the sacks, so we moved him to rde.

Ok guys well I'm gonna build this guy for mainly pass rushing and I'll post back here after every few levels on how he is doing and all that stuff. Thanks for all the input and help from everyone.

Last game he was moved over. My guy the new "LDE" got a hurry. The guy that moved to RDE pulled in 2 hurries. Which is quite funny, cause I beat him in almost every attribute that is important in pass rushing. He had me nailed on speed by like .5 and tackling by 10. My strength and agility towered over him. The thing is he has 5 sacks "i think" I have 0.

Take my advice or don't -- but I won't be lumped in with jack-offs like derenzy who just come here to brag.

To be clear, if you look at the direction of most OT builds, many are starting to leave STR alone once their equiped rating hits the low 60's. This is for a number of reasons: 1) they don't want to pay the 2 for 1 penalty, 2) they see DE's running around with sub-50 str, 3) they're worried that their agility is too low to fight off most DE's, 4) they split their equip bonuses btwn STR and Block or have their equip bonuses spread all over in an inefficient manner or 5) any combination of the above.

If you cede the STR battle to the OT, you're already 50% of the way to being screwed. The key to beating the block is to have at least a slight edge in the STR battle and then have a dominating edge in the AGI battle and have a good probability of shedding the block.

Oh and iMan, I never claimed that all my sacks came from equal competition. However, some of them did come from fighting through equal lvl OT's. Until you get any sacks (against lower comp or otherwise) perhaps you should STFU.

im not trying to discredit you, im just telling him not to go crazy on str and expect to bulldoze and beat a OT in strength. i can express my opinion but they dont have to take it.
dont need to get so butt hurt.

What do the replays show? I can tell you from experience that a good pass-rushing RDE has the ability to chase a QB into the hands of an LDE. Just looking at the box score doesn't tell the whole story. A lot of the times you'll see a mad pass rush by the RDE and the QB moves to his right because of the pressure, and bam, the LDE has a sack in the books. It's not because the LDE has a better build, or is better at rushing the QB. It's that the pressure coming from the other side took that half of the field away. You don't have to have a sack to make a huge impact on a play.

There was a few breaks in the blocks, my guy just cant bounce to the outside, like alot of the big sack machines do.

The bounce:

My hypothesis is that this is product of agility and perhaps shed block firing off at the right moment.

The straight bullrush:

Splitting the blockers, my guess is that this more of a product of STR and SPD.

Anyways these are just my best guesses.

This is what mine looks like at 15:

Strength: 46 Blocking: 12.8
Speed: 41 Tackling: 20
Agility: 41 Throwing: 10
Jumping: 14.03 Catching: 9
Stamina: 21.91 Carrying: 7
Vision: 31.26 Kicking: 7
Confidence: 21 Punting: 8

3-2-2-0-0 in pass rusher

I plan on soft capping strength/agility and pumping some stam. Not sure where to go after that. I have 0 sacks, but he seems to get in the backfield a lot and has mostly been playing RDE.

Soft cap is 48 right? What happens when you get there other then just being at 48? You gte .5 added to it every time you level up or something like that right?

after you hit the first soft cap, it costs 2 SP to raise the attribute by 1 pt. The second soft cap is 60 and after that, it costs 3 SP to raise the attribute by 1 pt.

after 48.3 for any skill, it cost 2 Sp to go up 1 point. in other words .5 per sp
