I didn't say I needed auto offers. Stated it would be nice to improve auto offers. I thought we had gotten past this whole S1-15 mentality of making everything at this game as hard as we can because something might help others.

No, I actually don't use auto offers for this very reason. I get 10k alerts from people looking to sign with a specific D-league team or sign dots that should be retired. If an owner is desperate enough he will still set auto offers to anyone. Even with these improvements to auto offers it's not as if decent teams are going to just sit back and rely on auto offers to fill their rosters.

people complain they dont have dots, then they complain they dont have good dots and the bad dots should go to a cpu team. d leagues are shit, keeps real teams from being filled.

all im saying is, if you dont want terrible dots, recruit decent-elite dots. If youre going to use auto offer, be happy there are users accepting them and not going to CPU teams.

No, I hate them. But there aren't all these people hanging out in D-leagues just waiting for a human owned team to swoop them up. Many of the people there (probably most) have no intentions of signing with a human owned team because they are statwhores and/or anti-social. That's not what is killing the game anyway. More of a symptom of the problems here.


And sometimes I like to keep auto offers on for a team if we have exhausted every avenue and there simply aren't ANY FAs available within our age group. The reason for this is, teams go CPU during the preseason and during the season. Obviously I'm not going to check out every single team in every single league several times a day to scan for teams that just went CPU.

People are way too picky about getting "perfect" dots. You'd be surprised what a bunch of misfit dots can do, and you can help them build better dots.
