There are 67 yard FG attempts in the other league types as well. That's why I find this suggestion to be lulzy. If you had suggested limiting the length of FG attempts that would be a different story. To suggest just doing it for D-leagues and fuck everyone else is pretty shitty.

Are you kidding me right now? All other leagues can control max FG distance. Therefore this suggestion only applies to d-leagues. I am in no way saying, in your words, "fuck everyone else". I play in those other leagues pal, I'm not just some d-league bystander.

It would just start a whole slew of demands from D-league people to have more customization. Now its the kickers. Next will be the punters. Then Rec TE owners will want their dots in only to catch passes. This defeats the whole concept of D-leagues. Its bad enough that people fill a whole CPU team with their dots and to an extent circumvent the cost of owning a team.

In my opinion, D-leagues should only be an environment where players have a place to go when human teams are full. That is it. It shouldn't be a place where any person should demand or even expect their dot to thrive. Every incentive should point towards leaving the D-leagues and signing on a human team.

After more reflection, my reply -1 only gets stronger.

Oh my word guys, you are reading into this wayyyy more than it is. This is a simple variable. I'm not complaining about archetypes and player utilization. Maybe I should have reported this as a bug. Surely you guys can't actually believe Bort is okay with 67 yard FGs firing in his sim.

So you're telling me people on CPU teams in regular, casual, and PW leagues can control this?

Change D-League to CPU, whatever... The CPU controlled units shouldn't be sending out the FG kicking unit for 67 yarders.

anything that discourages people from playing in the d leagues is a good thing in my book. i'd go as far as to take all trophies and stats out of the d leagues. based on the recent q&a, it doesnt sound like the upper level d leagues will ever go away because bort is catering to the allo the useless QBs and TBs that get built, instead of looking at the bigger picture and how its diluted the already shrinking player pool.
