Puma, you should listen to Luzod. I take my major attributes up one at a time real high, usually 68 but sometimes 73. Then I take the minors up to 61. Then with aeq I try to get all my SAs to 10. This should give you the best player possible.

His speed will get to 68 or even 73 eventually because elusive backs need a ton of speed, but only after everything else he needs gets to 48.

I don't know if you want to wait that long. ALGs will get your first and maybe second attribute over 80 without spending anymore SPs. You should still have time to get your minors in the 60s. The hard part is getting all the SAs to 10.

You gotta get stamina up to 90 right away, no matter what you're building. Then you can intense train the rest of their career wihout over-working them. Works every time.

ALGs?

I plan on him having 80 speed, agility, stamina, strength, carrying. I probably will take the first three SAs in both lines to 10 as well as his extra SA.

Well, 90 is a little high. Halftime will shoot for 80.

Good point, one I had not yet considered. He can't see anything right now. Hmm. Perhaps I need to spend his last boost in vision.

don't you think you should get blocking to around 20 asap?
my reasoning is that even though your dot is playing in the lower leagues, you still need to protect your QB on passing plays. And since pretty much every position either pumps their SPs into ether speed or strength in the beginning, they don't even think about training their tackling ability until later. Since some people wait until after their first full season to unlock multi-training and usually have tackling as one of their multis, even though their tackling will go up (because they are defensive players), it probably won't be any match for your blocking abilities ATM. You're gonna eventually have to either train blocking or pump SPs into it but for the time being, 20 should be enough. If your BLOCKING > their TACKLING, you can prevent your QB from getting sacked 100% of the time.... if your QB gets sacked too often, they could end up on IR at which point you're @#$%ed..

Great build so far. I think you might be about ready to start investing in some of the early tree SAs. Though you might want to get agility to closer to 20 first.

I can see what you're saying about blocking, but what I'm not following is how their tackling skill has any affect on their ability to break a block. Isn't tackling a measure of their tackling technique?

Was considering it, but I've read that I should not add SAs until level 25. I've also read that SAs have trigger points based on attributes. I.e. Juke won't work until he's got 60+speed and 48+ agility.

:mind blown: No wonder my dots always have trouble getting their SAs to trigger.

I've got loads of information about builds. I started reading at the beginning of the forums and have worked my way to late 2008 posts. I'll catch up eventually. Lots of good information in those old posts that is no longer discussed!

For instance, I bet you didn't know blocking plays into the break block roll for defensive players? Kind of makes sense - if you know how to block you're likely to be better at breaking them, amirite?
