While just holding your cock in leagues full of teams not trying and CPU teams, then yeah, this suggestion will sound like a lot of fun to play around with, as would all of these similar suggestions.

In actual leagues where people actually try to win and there isn't 10 CPU teams, the only thing this suggestion does is add more of a timesink along with nonsensical complexity. It just helps reinforce the requirement of recruiting a specific specialized player and forcing them on 3rd and 4th. It adds nothing besides the requirement of recruiting a specialized player for that, and loading them with 3rd down VAs.

how would that be different than currently forcing all starters like it currently is? its not the ability to force a starter based on situation. so the same player would be forced whether it is 3rd and 1 and 3rd and 15. so i dont see the need to be recruiting 3rd down specialists because those same players will be playing other downs too.

lack of coordinating does equal lack of experience

im glad that you coordinated in season 5, thats good for you, really, but it doesnt mean you have a clue about the amount of work coordinating at any relevant level is in the current sim

almost everyone in favor of any of these suggestions will people putzing in a meaningless non-competitive league half filled with CPU

trolling is when you post a worthless answer. whether you have the balls to answer the question is a whole different issue. personally, if you said the sky was blue, i'd go outside to verify it because your posts have zero value.

how does this add complexity to being a DC? It allows you to force starters by certain positions, like maybe on 3rd down you want to force only your WR's into the WR slots, or maybe defensively you want to force your CB's in to use 3ds. Or on 4th down and you want to put in some power DE's,

Maybe you guys are reading it wrong? This in no way has anything to do with modifying advanced AI's. It would be available on casual and available on normal leagues as part of the energy settings. Maybe you think this is too complex, but im pretty sure it's not.
