I don't agree that the sound should be muted by default, but I will agree there should be an account option to keep them muted so you don't have to continue to do so every session.

My browser will lockup from time to time watching replays this season. I have tried everything and the only variable I cannot change is the sound. Would be nice if we had an option to turn it off.
