We need to think outside the box with what is allowable. Adding initial points, an extra 10 or so initial SPs, and an extra SP or 2 with every level up is not NGTH afaik and would make a big difference. Of course these dots would have to be one season dots and would still level up as they do now. Would just give PW agents more SPs for their dots.

I see it as a reasonable compromise.

Yep, I'd go for something like this. I would raise that initial SP even higher though - make Pee wee builds be potentially really diverse. People would come in and try all kinds of differing builds with many more SP to play around with. You could get a real range of O and D set-ups happening. Would make it much more interesting.

I like this idea. Peewee is a dying league, and this could revitalise it. Plus, it would be a good place for new agents to learn the ropes.

So why can we not have a level 79 league?
Build your dots, boost them to 79 and play. One and done season.
If you want to test different builds this is the ideal location.

right back at you. Amazing how there can be different opinions. It doesn't matter how great the ideas posted are, they can't be convoluted and complicated, or GLB will never be able to pull it off. There are too many bugs now that you would think are easy fixes, yet GLB can't seem to get it right.

I don't think GLB wants a league that runs parallel to, and competes, with their main game. A niche league where players can get to level 50 in one year will directly compete with the main format. I have seen that happen far to often in other mmorpgs. The minute you start seperating your game population into niche products the game dies.

Their are numerous reasons why peewee is suffering, but the biggest one is the players can't reach level 79. Fix that, and peewee will improve.

KISS

So diluting rookie regular leagues is the answer?

I would rather PW itself be made better, tbh.

That is my point. The user base isn't big enough to support two seperate entry leagues. Rookie league shouldn't exist. All players created should go into one league. They can boost when the season starts. Max level is 76. Any new player has the choice to be a one and done, or stay and shoot for the highest league.

The easiest solution is always the best option. As good as some of the ideas listed are the facts are they are never going to be implemented.

This is one of my key points as I think there are a LOT of agents who feel like this person. A lot of agents simply don't play in Pee-Wee because of it's immature player builds. If Pee-Wee was made into a niche league, you would need to a way to make the player builds more mature to attract these type of agents. My idea was only one of many possible ways to do that.

I was thinking same thing. +1 but I sure wouldn't count on it. Although if somebody took a look at who is supporting this I think its clear these are the only people you would really have to worry about upseting anyways. I recognize most of these people as people who are often on the PW forums as well.

For all the PW-revival ideas, this one seems to be the most likely to work.

Simplest method of all seems like it would be to:

1. Make all Pee Wee dots one and done only. You check a box, that's it - he is retired at the end of the season automatically.

2. Give all Pee Wee dots a lot of extra SP on creation. I think if you are going to do this, then go for it. Don't give them 10 or 20 extra SP, give them enough to really make a big visible difference to how things are now and open up multiple differing build strategies (even if in the long haul one way of building or another proves dominant and becomes the norm).

3. Then give them extra SP for each level up. I really do think that if this is to be done, you need to be making it so Pee Wee dots are at the very least like mid-career dots (level 40+), and preferably higher.

4. VAs? Not sure on this part. I think that would be fun too, and add to the attraction, but you'd perhaps have to just give Pee Wee dots a bunch of Vet Points mid-season, or something like that.

I'm not in for all this but I am in for the boosted level play. Level 20 would be ideal as you would be able to experiment with VA's and secondary attributes.

I think by just making PW no boost would make things much better to start. Would give agents a chance to buy and build their own teams without spending huge flex.

Anyways we have this discussion every off season. We we're told serious implications could arise from NBNC and then blown off as usual just like the last 5 seasons.

To be honest I'm having fun not boosting and playing better competition.

Since nothing truly big will ever happen this one makes a lot of sense. It is probably indeed the easiest solution and best option I have heard. Would love to see this happen.

Sorry bro, but if it comes down to rookie vs. peewee...

peewee will lose.

Why not consolidate the two as carumba stated? Is it really worth losing a lot of the peewee agents and owners? It's like spitting in our face after all the money we have spent on this game. Guess I'll start preparing my rage quit speech.

Because if that's the case PW has no reason to exist.

Why does rookie need to exist? Rookie is nothing but the first step in a ladder. Start the ladder at level 16.
