One of the worst things that this game had before was player's money being worth something to the player. It made people ask for outrageous contract that hurt teams ability to take care of all players. So many different ways it would be exploited..... not just in trading.

Nothing against new people.They are always needed.
It's just that this was HIGHLY exploited for a long time before they removed it. A lot of people just don't want those days to come back.

Many, you'd have somebody with the WORST built dot demanding $1000 a day. That killed team finances. People would ask for tremendously high salary to pay for equipment, then leave your team.... so you ended out equipping them for the next guy(usually their own team or something). It was outrageous.
