To clarify, this is not about my dot. I've had 11 MVPs and most of them were end of season surprises. Its cool but not a goal.

I've always been a fan of the suggestion of:

1) Your team must make the playoffs for you to be named MVP
2) Only you starts vs teams that made the playoffs are counting in the MVP race (raw stats, and not blowout)




and blowout stats were mainly added because some teams would purposefully give tons of carries to a specific RB, or something like that in order to boost his stats and win him the MVP. Not because 1 team blew a team out and another didn't

imo stats against playoff teams should only matter in the mvp calculations. it would cut out the whining bout bottom feeders and guts and stuff.

yup, if the team isn't competing they can hardly have the MVP.
