It was Catch22's idea through and through!!!

This came out of no where, it was extremely poorly implemented (do you guys see the Ai's? (i have to pay keep my Regular Pro team just to see these NON-casual Ai's and custom depth)

I called Catch22 out on it and got banned for it and thread locked without a SINGLE reply as to why, nor is ANYONE else allowed to ask.

Git rid of this new non-casual gameplan we have to deal with, theres way, way too many options for it to be called casual, or git rid of the "casual" tag or something.

I personally like them. We wont use them this season because manual settings are the only way to go. I cant see the harm in them being there, if you trust them working. Its a negative and a positive. I like that if you build a team that fits the preset then, there is a different style of play that can be used if it is working correctly they seem random as hell.

Its still and always will be casual when all you have to do is load a tactic preset or manually and then a Depth chart, so its just as easy and casual as before.

No, more likely you got suspended (not banned) because you are unable to have a conversation without attacking and accusing people of things. See bold

And in fact while it might have been catch22's solution, there have been many people calling for changes to casual for many seasons. This was likely the easiest way to go about allowing people to have different archetypes in the same position (ie blocking FB and scat FB) from a programming standpoint. They weren't going to do anything with casual. The fact they have done anything with it you should take as a sign that maybe they will fiddle with it a bit to make it how the majority want it.

There are people who are not against the change. And they can't make everyone happy.

This. I`ve seen countless posts about why can`t i split my QBs? Or have this RB run here? Not like these presets are very good so just keep them i see no harm done even though i am not a fan of them

-1 It does not take any longer to setup. However, the preset plays are horrible and we cannot see them.

The whole point of casual is that everyone has the same options regardless of having 10 minutes or 10 hours to prepare for a match. Not giving the advantage to people who have time to play with their DC to game the system, buy an AI based team to fully check out the presets, and scout the opposition and watch a ton of game film to figure out which presets they are using and what DC setup will be best.

Plus with the way this works I can see it being easily exploited by mismatching on the DC to make the defensive presets mark the wrong person. Rushing QB in passing QB slot with 100% QB rush.....all presets are now useless since they will auto tag that QB as a passer since that's where he is on the DC. At least that's how I understand it.

This was a pointless and unnecessary change, if people want to use AI's there are the regular leagues.

Yea and there are also a ton of Input/outputs to deal with. Generic percentages do not hurt casual in any way. If you don't even have time to assign some simple percentages, you probably shouldn't own a team. It's really not fair to the agents on your team that you don't have time to do anything to make the team competetive. As far as the rushing qb in passing slot, the archtype still shows up and you can assign spies.
