The LOLB here is looking to pick up the man in coverage, and instead of seeing that the HB is going into a pass route, he instead acts like the HB is blocking and moves into his zone secondary assignment.

I assume you mean aggressiveness setting in terms of pass rush. But that just determines how quick a jump the defender makes going into Blitz doesn't it? Like for a DE, whether he tries his hardest to blitz the QB or saves a bit to improve his chances of seeing a screen or sweep and moving out to the flat?

Does aggressiveness even apply to the vision check for man covering a HB????

Cool if it does but on its face, by the terms in the description, it would not seem to.

Not that this would be the first feature badly described in game. But if there is more to it than that I would love to hear how it actually works.

If you mean aggressive pass coverage setting, doesnt that only matter if he is already in man coverage? Here the LOLB is not going into man, he is acting like his vision check said the HB isnt running a route and then went to his zone back up. He doesn't go back into man cover until the HB crosses the line of scrimmage. But by then its too late, the HB is wide open and able to cut to stay that way.



set him to loose coverage style. zero cushion. see what happens.

Usually see that type of behavior when another receiver gets close to the defender before the defender gets on his man. move your defenders and/or change who covers who so they don't cross.

Hmm, hes back a bit to be there for inside run back up if need be.

kinda hard to do when you post so many different suggestions. I mean hell sometimes the blind squirrel finds a nut. and with your shotgun approach maybe just maybe if I skipped all of your suggestions I would miss out on you actually having a good one to help the game.

Well then it only takes a moment to peruse and decide. Of all the ideas I have posted most have garnered a plus one or three. And not from alt accounts, lol. I have no idea of knowing which ones will be which beyond the obvious gimmes, though some I think gimmes get flamed too.

But in the end, I am not posting for you guys anyway, but the slight chance a dev may see an idea and like it. And just looking at my CPU team penalty tells us that the opinion of Hatch and Company is not always the same as Bort Et Al.

no Yello1 there is where you are wrong it doesn't take just a moment to peruse and decide as you say. because 9 times out of 10. you will come back and try to act like the person that gave a -1 is stupid or as you say just didn't understand your meaning. so they in turn feel it is necessary to defend themselves against your belittling. so you have drawn that person into a argument when had you just let that person be. there would have been no argument.

I feel the need to defend my ideas, if the point is invalid or can be dealt with by an alteration to the idea, as much as you want to defend your objection. Such is the nature of discussion.

We keep coming back to the same thing, its a forum. By nature, its built for discussions. Your offense at that is silly.

Its like going to a concert hall and asking the band to keep it down, or a dance club and to tell everyone to sit down and stop dancing.

I do not take offense to people making suggestions. I do not take offense to your silly shit either. I do think you come across as a jackass alot. when you make a suggestion people actually try to help you and instead of you taking that help. you bash them and act as if they are stupid or less educated than you are. my problem isn't about discussing suggestions or even the amount of suggestions you make. my problem is that you are a self centered pompous jackass in your response's. and that you will talk down to so many different people even when they prove that they are right or they take the time to let you know where the problem is in your suggestion. people actually try to help you out and you go off on one of your goofy examples as usual.

1) Try to grok that I tend to respond in kind. If you trash me with a slur, one will most likely be coming your way back. Similarly if you trash my idea with alot of derogatory language, your illogical response will be treated with equal disrespect. So you reap what you sow here, trash me, I trash you. Monkey poo fits in the hand for a reason. Okay not really, but you know what I mean I trust.

2) Try also to understand that when I am trying to show restraint I may instead make a humorous comment which could be taken as a nasty crack if taken literally. Always dangerous on the internet, humor is hard to read. If you have ever taken a joke the wrong way, and I know you have, my apologies. I should use smiley faces more often probably.

3) I ain't perfect. Sometimes I misread someones response. Sometimes I respond to someone thinking they were the person I am in the midst of a heated flame fest when in fact they were a totally innocent person wandering into the thread and undeserving of the level of vitriole. If I notice it, my apologies come forth. If not, well sorry bout that. Nothing personal, its the internet. Refresh and walk it off.

4) All of that said if someones remark is just wrong - it either misunderstands the concept being responded to, or has an illogical basis - I will try to be polite but I see no reason not to point out the error. Thats what the discussion of ideas is all about.

5) Likewise if the logic is sound but the values supporting the position are ones I disagree with (simplicity over variety, elitism over broader market etc) then I am going to state my opposing opinion. Again thats discussion in its purest form, or forum as it were.

None of that is a reason for me to stop posting my ideas when they come to mind, and I won't, assuming I am not too busy otherwise.

If that just drives you nuts, I am sorry about that. You can't control me or my thoughts Hatch, any more than I yours. Such is life.

Nope, I have asked mods to close threads when someones comment was both logical and an idea killer. Or in other instances when the comment was logical but raised a fixable problem, I changed the OP to reflect the needed changes.

The responses are illogical when they are illogical. Sadly that happens often.
