The home team in the playoffs gets quite a bit more money than that. They get their ticket sales (which they can charge over double the expected for and still sell out), plus they get their concessions. They can make $2 million easy on 1 home playoff game.

Congrats on the win Akron!

We lost to a better team, no doubt about it.

Two huge differences:
- Turnovers
- Yards per carry.

The Alpine/Akron game was almost a blowout, I was expecting a big scoring game, not a one sided game, was looking forward to a huge once in a life time game we'd remember for the rest of our lives.

A blowout against Akron's defense? Much as I hate to say it being a Browns fan, we are the steel curtain of BBB#14. Prior to playing Alpine we were giving up less than .4 yards per carry(yes the decimal is in the right place).

You guys are a good team, but I was expecting a lot more, a closer game than that. Alpine is a good team as well and holding them to 6 points is quite an accomplishment.

Alpine did their best, but I guess your defense wasn't in the mood for it. Was just saying I expected a much higher score, more TD's and maybe a last minute 4th quarter interception fumbled ran back for a TD, fumbled then tackled at the 1 yard line and forced to give up a safety loss by 2 points kind of close.
