I know from playing teams like Canton, HHWC, Mojo, Sofia, Buda, etc regularly this season that Alpine's roster is strong enough to compete for WL Gold this season and will be further improved next year. I think the same can be said of the Gods. Frustrating that one or both of us will spend the year down here again (even though I like WEPL a lot with great forums compared to the WL, the competition every week just ain't there)

Well, if Alpine and Hood both get eliminated early and stay in Pro we will have to schedule a day 40 old fashioned "Loser leaves town" match to see who swaps leagues or conferences and who gets to stay

I do think that either Alpine or Hood move up, but I do think that there is a group of teams that can pull off an upset. The Stoners looked every bit as good as Alpine in our regular season game for instance.
