most dots cannot boost to 79? they need to be 76 in order to do so, which is very unlikely

79 is just the max anyone can boost to under the new rules. old dots wont have the chance to reach 79. they just get their 3 boosts and that it. so likely around 75-78 at most

I know, my whole point was, this WAS the season that the young teams "catch up" besides the obvious VA difference. Now though all the other team are able to boost as well, so besides getting the lvl 72 upgrade there is no "catching up". We do have a few older dots, but the team overall is young. It is what it is.

EDIT:
Also 75-78 is wrong. If your older dot is 74 this season you can boost 3 times now and 2 next season. I have an older LB on Rangoon that is sitting at 77 right now.

you can boost a total of 3 times once in plateau. Not sure where people are seeing there will be more boosts next season. I'd like to see where that's been confirmed, that would be news to me.

Its only 3. If you are 74 now you will reach 77 and you won't be able to boost next season.

These other leagues are dragging their asses....7 teams in USA and no sign up thread in EEPL. Feels like it's going nowhere fast. We need a rep from one of the prospective leagues to get them riled up.

also you WILL catch up. maybe not as much but still

those lvl 72 EQs will gain you a lot of the gap. 18SP on a final build is not gonna make a huge difference (shouldnt be much left to spend it in!) so a dots 16SP getting to lvl 72 will be worth more than a dot who wasnt expecting it through their build

alright, then I misread what they were saying. I took it as you can boost 3 times each season till you hit lvl 79. So I just assumed that if you boosted the 3 times this offseason you would just as well be able to boost tomorrow as well. Since technically it's "next" season. Even better.

that was with me assuming most all dots would be 79 next season, but if you can only boost the 3 then that's a little better.
