But you are right about people not caring enough to host shows. That's the big thing. Most people are down to call in for a few minutes now and then to BS and talk a little dotball or talk shit. That's all I really have time for at night.

Nobody can commit to hosting a weekly show anymore otherwise I think everything would pick up and GLB radio would do well.

Perhaps its just a matter of positioning. What you described might actually be superior to what is currently on-air in most markets in the spot referred to as "Morning Drive".

Someone remind me again why stations allegedly devoted to music need to clutter their airwaves with a going-to-work agenda that includes reviews of "American Idol", a 5-day weather forecast, and other such bullshit (yes, I'm referring to you "funny" morning shows--what the hell does "funny" have to do with whatever genre of music is your alleged reason to be on the air)?

You should listen to sports talk imo.
