I'm celebrating my 35th birthday today with our 24-7 victory over the Red River Chiefs. They made me nervous at times but our three big TD passes destroyed their hopes. We are OFFICIALLY better than last season now. I love it!

Thanks! Sorry about your loss to the Woodys today. Those guys have REALLY improved over last season! That simply means that we'll be the teams to beat in the future. In the meantime, let's enjoy the improvement of our own teams. Time to celebrate!

Indeed, we've considered them a top 3 team and knew it would be rough. As much as I dont want to rewatch the game, I find myself becoming less frustrated with it as I do. Our D actually didnt play bad.. only gave up 1 TD. But you're not going to win a game with 8 interceptions, many of which were on our side of the field.. and at least 3 inside our 30. We were able to hold those to FG's which was promising, but we just couldnt recover. Our O didnt move the ball well.. and alot of that is because they were being selfish and taking it away from us! They also had a nice punt return for TD.
I give the Woodys all the credit for playing a great game and their D was on their game. Our QB didnt even want to enter the locker room after the game.. All we can do is regroup.. and get back to the drawing board for the next game - The Battle of Midway with the Hawks who are also 4-4 like us.

Maine has had a brutal season. All of their losses have been absolute heartbreakers. We'd be in the same position as them if our good luck was replaced by their bad luck.

Man, Easy Company is just tough as nails. When we lost that game to Las Vegas, they were who we thought they were. We turned the ball over left and right and it sucked for four days knowing we didn't come out and give ourselves a chance to win.. but we flew all over the field, we hurried EZ on almost every play, we got sacks, and they just threw it right down our throats.
Tough as nails performance. Clutch kicking, over-coming a pressure defense and nailing 3rd downs to take us out of the game. Best team in the conference, clearly. Grats EZ, that one was just 100% the better team winning fairly easily.
