I hope with this new XP system, everyone does get max XP when they play for at least 1 play and thus the championship game is full of level 16 players.

Aye, I'm just trying to find something where the admin team actually say that those variations are not going to happen in APD. I guess that must be the intention...

I got a response from support saying no variation at all this season, but until I see games, I can't be sure.

As Antonine is saying, I remember a similar thread just a few weeks ago that had a BORT response (through an Admin) saying that max XP is NOT a finite number, and it does vary 1-3 points per person.

I think Antonine is on to something...we have have only a certain portion of players reaching level 16.

You only reach 16 if you boost on the day of the championship (day 40)

That could really make a mess of things.

And I don't understand how boosting day 40 or day 1 makes any difference if game XP gain is at a flat rate from levels 1-15, and you hit 15 on your last regular season game (if you boost early), so 15-16 is entirely via daily XP. You can hit 16 either way, it seems, but only if you get absolute max xp in every regular season game.

Alright lets think about it..

Lets say you boost day 1 to level 4...you have a level 4 dot.

625x16=10000 so you gain 10 levels to level 14

Then you get 50x40 which is 2000

So you will be level 16 by the championship game NO MATTER WHAT if you get max xp in every game.

Yes. As long as they did get rid of the small XP variations. I can't find anything anywhere saying that they have done that. That's what the issue might be.

This. If we actually get 625 then they'll all be 16's. The question is whether or not 625 is an exact number. Currently max game XP is not an exact number and can vary a few points; and I saw (can't find link) recently where BORT said that he wasn't changing that. I'm not sure if that was pre or post APD announcement.

Still waiting on a response from Support, or an Admin to clear this up...

So according to Catch, variable max XP is indeed now dead, with the APD system, so everyone should hit 16 on day 40 if they boost.
