I wouldn't post it if I didn't think it was true.

I prefer to use my DT to hold the point of attack and plug the A gap. My system doesn't lend itself to a stat-producing DT but it frees up the linebackers to engage the ballcarrier without dealing with offensive linemen.

I miss the days when you could use DL to occupy blockers and blitz a LB through the gap.
