What about a 7 team, double elimination bracket? Example below using the lower numbers in the matchups as the winners to keep the example flowing...

First Round:
Team 1 - Bye
Team 2 vs Team 7
Team 3 vs Team 6
Team 4 vs Team 5
Second Round:
(Winners Bracket)
Team 1 vs Team 4
Team 2 vs Team 3
(Losers Bracket) - Teams that lost the first round, lose again and are done can still win out till the final.
Team 5 - Bye
Team 6 vs Team 7
Third Round:
(Winners Bracket)
Team 1 vs Team 2
(Losers Bracket)
Team 3 vs Team 6
Team 4 vs Team 5
Fourth Round:
(Winners Bracket) - Only one team remains, no games.
(Losers Bracket) - Team 2 only has 1 loss now so advances to next round by default having not been in the losers bracket.
Team 3 vs Team 4
Fifth Round:
(Winners Bracket) - Team 1 still advances to get even with everyone.
(Losers Bracket) -
Team 2 vs Team 3
Sixth Round:
Team 1 vs Team 2
In this round if winning team has no loss still (Team 1) then tourney is over. However, IF Team 2 wins giving Team 1 their first loss then there would have to be a second game vs the same two teams to determine a winning team since it is a double elimination.

Team 1 - 3 games if winning in 6th Round, or 4 Games if losing in 6th Round forcing a Re-match.

Team 3 - 5 games to double elimination.
Team 4 - 4 games to double elimination.
Team 5 - 2 games to double elimination, with a bye along the way.
Team 6 - 3 games to double elimination.
Team 7 - 2 games to double elimination.

I didn't boost to beat you...in fact I PMed you to tell you that I had because of a league game where someone was mouthing off but they were three levels higher then the rest of the league. I boosted two (then gained another during roll over). I wanted to send a message to the league (which we did of course). I fully know that we will get our asses kicked by you when we meet again...not even a question about it in my mind. Your probably one of the best teams we faced all season.
As I told OH-IO because of my boosting and it not being a FULL two days before our game (and you re-scheduled the match before we played an even amount of games) I fully would have accepted a DQ and let you advance to the finals while I have to fight for the re-match! That is why I wanted to talk to you before hand.
