Because of this opinion it seems to be alright for you to openly mock me. That's cool, whatever. Not that this makes a difference but my angry tone in the PRIVATE message to you Trousers can partially be attributed to the stress of the fact that my son is sitting in a hospital room for at least three weeks in pain and nothing I can do about it. So, yes, I am a little on edge and did overreact to the comment. I do apologize for that. I am offering that if you do want to discuss things about the game I will try to bring more of a rationale to the conversation. We all the have the right to disagree. And on that note, I do disagree with the outcomes on some games. It is not a direct attack on any teams or players on a personal level. It is simply ananlyzing the data from previous game and looking at matchups and seeing results differ dramatically. 2 + 2 should equal 4 but apparently as Gestalt stated it actually equals 5. Also, I would like to extend to anyone else an invitation to talk about the game. As everyone can see I have a bit of a temper and don't like to lose. I take things personally even when they aren't meant to be. To everyone, especially DrLoveTrousers, I apologize for the private message.
Arkanpyra
Could the long ass paragraph police please arrest this man for not using his space bar and enter button, and could the owner of the Hounds please restrict this man from making public comments until season 4....
P.S. You dont like to lose understandably but I did not realize nor was I made aware of the fact that you suited up and played.

Please do not lump the entire team in with the statement of one of our players. You have all seen me in these forums 100 times more than everyone else from my team and I believe I have always given teams props for beating us and have been far more respectful than some other people in here.

I can see if it would have been close for the rush/pass defense being close to our blocking but we had 42 to the Roos 30. Thank the server for giving you the win Roos.
sportsmanship award!

looks to me that one person (arkanpyra) lost his cool in this thread...lets not take it out on the entire team and the NH owner due to him...if he wants GM's acting like that it's on them and a reflection of the NH hounds...i personally would be embarrassed.
the 'roos have respect for all opponents and enjoy the game as it is...
best of luck ya'll!

First, I want to say that this is my first post in the BBB#13 forums. I was selected as the defensive coordinator for the Roos right before the start of this season.
Okay, now that I've introduced myself....
I've been reading the forums and for the most part, everyone is pretty amicable. While, I do think that the PRIVATE message by arkanpyra was more than a little over the top, I think we would all agree that the sim isn't perfect and that any random number generator can cause some strange outcomes to happen. So, I agree that the sims can play a part of any outcome.
Conversely though, with the other team I am on, we routinely have beaten teams that out-level us in several if not all aspects of the game. There seem to be certain tactics that just seem to work better than others. Effectively utilizing those tactics and optimizing your team's strengths and weaknesses seem to be the absolute key to this game. Being the fastest, strongest, and biggest, doesn't make you the best. BTW, I am still trying to figure out what the heck I am doing!!!
But, my real point to this post is that if, what arkanpyra says is true, about his son, I think you should consider giving him some slack. Having kids of my own, I know that it would be extremely stressful if one of them were in the hospital for that long. Not an excuse for posting a private message like he did, but something to consider. He also did apologize (should have done it before his PM became public), which should be a good start. Now, if this is something that is habitual, maybe I would think differently.
Finally, good luck to everyone this season! We'll see how things play out soon enough! Go Roos!

I agree with tdiggity, one man doesn't speak for our team but badgerpride. I definitely think that the sim has some problems, but we have to live and learn. I give props to both teams that beat us. We got taken apart and forced out of our gameplan. I understand his pain, his situation sucks. It also really sucks to lose to a team you should have beaten. Fortunately, player morale is higher than user morale.
With all that being said, AP Warriors, time to feel the pain! (maybe)

the pats should have beaten the giants too
no seriously this is a game guys...it wasn't a huge upset either...without upsets the game is boring...it's all about tactics and matchups
best of luck

Very well said. Although I don't condone the language or sentiment conveyed in the PM, I do have a question. Doesn't PM stand for PRIVATE MESSAGE? Why was it posted here?
