Creating new teams is just like creating new players. I think this would eliminate some CPU teams in the upper levels and could bring more competitive games. This would be an option, you don't have to suspend your team, you can sell it back like the owners do now. This would just allow agents to keep that team for future seasons, and not loose the history, trophies, and stats for that team.

giving this a bump since the season is about to start.

I support this, but would add that reactivating the team should be treated like a demotion with a reset of the stadium and finances.

You also should also only get charged flex if the team is active.

+1. I would have liked to have kept the old team ID, forum, etc. when I restarted after a several-season absence.

For the suggestion to work under the current management, I think the team would have to be reactivated before day 41 so that it can replace another (CPU-owned) team. I can't see it working midseason, or even activating prior to the day-41 shuffle.

I had my season 1 team until season 13, sold it, then bought it back a few seasons later. I've just been holding it because I eventually want to get the old agents back together, but I don't want to lose the team id.

So +1 to this idea.

All players would have to be automatically released. This would also have to be limited to Off Season only or you would have those owners that go AFK in the middle of a season just putting their team into limbo & making a league wide issue.
