What are YOU talking about? Convicted 'anyone' loses rights. I'm talking about the loss of our right to criticize the government. Why can't someone say 'X' against the gov. without being intimidated by the masses. There was a time when crushing oppressive governments was the COOL thing to do. Now we just have to shut-up or be labeled a "Child rapist sympathizer". Come on I never said anything about child rapists. I'm sorry, your post that I quoted was right after one that mentioned taking the rights of child rapists. I assumed that was what you were responding to. Suggestion, be more clear with your responses, or better yet, quote what you are responding to.

And where was your right to criticize the government taken from you? You and me and our grandfathers right to protest still exists, this thread is proof, you posted a pretty anti-government video.

Or are you talking about people criticizing how shitty said video was? Cuz that isn't "taking your rights", its excercising theirs.

I posted a video, if it is taken as "Anti-Government" than so be it. A convicted child rapist is different than one who is charged and awaiting trial. Just as it is with DUI, assault etc... The rights that have been given up in the US are astounding, and here in Canada Bill C-51 is equal to the Patriot Act.

Also, posting links on a nerd site is by no means protesting, but to each their own. My right to a private phone call is gone, my right to own a gun is leaving and many more are on their way out.

Two party government is dangerous if both parties are the same, Stallin or Lenin? WHich do you want (not to compare systems but ideas behind elections).

Capitalism has never given MAN a single right, WE got ourseleves fought for our OWN rights (see unionized farm workers). Democracy and Capitalism are NOT linked, if you gave Wal-Mart the choice, how much would THEY say is MINIMUM WAGE?

Where are all the capitalist jobs in North-America going? It seems they are going somewhere cheaper, with more oppressive govs. and less over-sight.
