And games actually already assigned a game ID, you can find all your games for a season once schedules are published.

Have a CPU team in s3 West... THREE human teams. I think we might get a home playoff game!

And why do they even have copper any more...cut those, too, and consolidate teams into silver.

I went through all the Silver/Copper leagues quick and check this out:

There are 70 Human owned Copper teams and 63 CPU silver teams. And I know for a fact that some of those human owned teams both in Copper and Silver is an all cpu roster.

Just proves that Bort should get ridd of the copper leagues.

For new agents to learn. You throw them into the fire right off the bat, they might get overwhelmed or upset and quit.

This is the exact reason I like to keep Copper and setup promotions/demotions from Copper to Silver.

What if the Top Silver teams all requested to be in the same League/Leagues? Would they allow that?

I don't see why not. Just don't ask "Can we be moved to the same league ?", instead pick a league and everyone asks "Can you move my team to silver <insert number here> ?". Of course they wouldn't remove any teams who already are in that league (unless they ask to be moved), so it would have to be one with most cpu's.

This is actually a pretty good idea. I'd definitely be in, if we could organize this. And we would probably get away with it too, because it's not like any admin or support person ever comes to the peewee forums.

I completely disagree with this. If you put them in copper they play CPU teams 14/16 games and don't learn anything. They might win a few playoff games and feel good...but then when they play real teams they still get destroyed b/c they didn't learn anything.

Put them in silver and they play 8/16 human teams. They still will make the playoffs if they try at all, they'll get a handful of good games, and they'll get blown out a few times. They learn more in this scenario, though, and are better their 2nd year.

I think more people would quit b/c they play 14+ CPU opponents than would quit b/c they get blown out a couple of times (at least any self respecting agent that would eventually be any good anyway). Let's face it...if you play 3 games and get destroyed in 2 of them and quit...you likely weren't going to play the game very long anyway.

I agree with PING.. When I started as a Coordinator/Owner my first Season. Season 18. I faced SAS a couple of time and they beat us 100-3, 70-7 etc. etc. We got KILLED!! Needless to say we got better and better because we also faced the again in Season 19.. They beat us again and again but each Season we would pull closer and closer.. Fast Forward to Season 22 and we are both in Pee Wee Gold!! They are 5-1 we are 4-2... PING is totally right. Had I never faced SAS that first Season I would probably still be a pretty good Silver OC rather than an OC in Gold..

Great thing about it is that I don't think there is anything "illegal" about it.. We could simply make a request to be in the specified League..

Maybe somebody should start PMing Owners to make the requests for next Season?

it wouldn't work coz it would kill egos and the more deserving teams wouldn't make it to gold, whereas the less deserving no/no teams would be able to waltz in

Picking top teams is problematic at best. My original ides forces the good teams into only 4 Silver leagues, and all others into the Copper leagues. Thus your A level teams would be in Gold, you B level teams in Silver, and you C and below teams in Copper.

Sorry I am not a big fan of ManOgwaR's idea. I mean if that plan was implemented I would be fine with it, but it not my favorite.

the 1-4-8 is good.
The promotions I would not do the conference champs. I say league champs. If you make it the conference champs you could be in a weak conference and just blaze into the league championship game.

One way of altering it would be the 1-5-8, or 1-6-8.
The promotion would allow the league champs to be promoted and take 2 or 3 wildcards. You can determine these wildcards by performance in tournaments, their record, how deep they made the playoffs, anything.
