GG Wu

I'm a fan of all 3 Radiohead "eras".

Im underwhelmed by King of Limbs tbh...

a bit let down...

I was expecting more guitar anthems and got electronica...

I love it, but I love electronica too.

There are a lot of rumurs floating around that there will be some more music coming out, mainly with the Newspaper album.

yes.

lets hope those are the guitar anthems...

dont get me wrong, I dig on the electronica... especially Radiohead's brand of experimento-noodling electronica.

but I was expecting more, it just seems a little flat/thin...

I am most pleased this has turned into a Radiohead discussion.

I heard them interviewed one time and they said Creep was their least favorite song of theirs. I'm going to have to disagree with them there, but do I prefer Ok Computer and Kid A to their first generation work. Like I said though, all of it, including the new one, is good imo.

It's always been their least favorite, even when they wrote it.

When the song shifts from the verse to the chorus, Jonny Greenwood plays three blasts of guitar noise ("dead notes" played by releasing fret-hand pressure and picking the strings). Greenwood said he did this because he did not like how quiet the song was; he explained, "So I hit the guitar hard—really hard".[2] Ed O'Brien said, "That's the sound of Jonny trying to fuck the song up. He really didn't like it the first time we played it, so he tried spoiling it. And it made the song."[9] During the song's outro, Jonny Greenwood plays a piano figure. Kolderie forgot to add the piano part during the final mix until the end of the song, but the band approved of the final result.[10]
