It's too bad there's no way to schedule a CPU vs CPU scrim for this Challenge

Sparta isnt CPU owned though! Just a "holding" team currently

I've often thought that these things should be scored according to weight. top game is worth 18 points, second game worth 17 etc... last game worth one.

It gives a more realistic measurement of league competitiveness.

interesting idea. I like these sorts of things, but it can be tough to get good matchups depending on how many & which teams decide to play. That would be a nice solution I think.

When all is said and done, you should score it that way as well. It would be interesting to see the comparison between that method and just the straight-up challenge

When you say "you", you mean someone that is not made of lazy, right?

ok now this idea has crossed my mind and I even brought it up against our League Challenge against USAPL however here's where the idea fails although a good concept.

The entire point of the League Challenge is for League UNITY, and to show your pride for the League your represent. With assigning points to each seeded win, that takes away from it. If we were to adopt such a format the little guys in each league would feel insignificant as if they werent a part of the Challenge, thus destroying the unity factor. Teams also based on their rank and towards the bottom wouldnt try as hard imo as their games are worth as much. The setup we have now ensures that each team for the League they represent has an equal say on the outcome of the League Challenge thus unifying each League. This way even the lesser teams who are struggling in their regular season can still hold their head high and show they repped their League with pride. It also ensures that even the top teams need to lean on the little guys, just as much as the little guys need to lean on the big guns.

My suggestion is this...EEPL has been doing these League Challenges since Season 9 and each season we get 99% of our top teams to participate and we avg about 23 teams of the 32 to sign up each season. SEAPL in this case needs to put pressure on the teams that didnt sign up that yall know should have signed up and that they woulda repped SEAPL. EEPL has a strong unity and we have great participation, and I hope it continues in the future, and I hope that SEAPL will get to that point someday as well. Like I said above League Unity is the key to having a solid lineup for League Challenges, not a point system based on talent.
