Youre not telling me anything I dont know about Bama. We didnt have anyone step up and fill McClains shoes, and thats why we dropped the ball this year. But whatever, next year will roll around and we will be even better than we were this year with the secondary maturing. Can the barn say the same thing?
If fans from around the country only knew how much passion there is for college football in this state, they would understand why we are fucking with each other so hard!

I'll fuckin go toe to toe with anyone. Spread-em's met me before, he can vouch. Hell, Spread-em has me by a couple of inches and about 20 pounds himself.

Auburn and OSU got an exception, Cam Newton and Pryor prove it.
Agree on Fairley, but he's just a stupid person in general. His "college" was just to get drafted, not to actually... wait for it... learn something. I can handle playing hard and the such, but yes he's just a dirtbag. That being said, don't lump all of the players in just because you have one idiot. Was a good game minus the few "idiot" moments.

I think you can go just about any where and say that really though. You try telling one of our big midwest, cornfed farm boys that and he'll rip your arms off and beat you to death with them. ^^; Having a consistent in-state rivalry does intensify it though for sure. To bad we don't have that here in Wisconsin, our closest rival is my boys down in Urbana who have been a joke for the last few years.

Yeah I have to agree and if you look hard enough you can find a doooooshbag on every team.

True. But the leaders on that team should stop it. I don't care if you vouch for it or not, but someone needs to step up and tell it how it is. It's happened on the Pro Level. When McClain spit in Crowders Face (As much as I loved that, since Crowder was the first idiot to come out and say he's still going for hits to the head), I can assure you Ray Lewis/Another member pulled him aside and told him to cut it out.
Btw, I don't care for Bama nor Auburn, or the SEC really, but it seems all the dirty play, including recruiting, is coming up there. Not just football, but basketball too. Hell, even teammates are beating each other to a pulp.

This is also true. Even at the HS level, we probably have one of the most intense rivalries with Phillipsburg, NJ.
Just to tell you how important it is, if we make the PIAA Playoffs (PA), we end up playing 3 games in 8 days. One on a friday, the biggest game of the year on thanksgiving, and another saturday for states.
In recent years, we've sacrificed that Saturday game just to go all-out for a "meaning-less" in the record column game.
