This is the first time I have actually ever sat around and kept an eye on the polls. There are definitely some "interesting" things going on with the voting.

Great idea other than when people abuse this, and it will happen. They buy a team, then can't fill it with the levels they need, so they sell the team back and buy a team in different "age" levels, same thing happens, and next thing you know there's a bunch of agents on here complaining because they were on a team then the team sold, etc., etc.
If you regretted selling your team, contact support and they could probably work something out. But this, this is just asking for a whole crapload of buying and selling during the offseason that would screw over a bunch of people.
Sorry, I don't hate you Dub J, but have to go -1 on this one.
Maybe only apply the penalty to the same type of team. For instance, it shouldn't apply if someone sells a casual team because they want a regular team.

They already do that, but now they don't buy another team until after the season has already started. I really don't think changing this would have any impact on how many sell back their team. With all the changes in this game (which typically comes around the offseason) it seems like there is no forgiveness for builds, teams, or anything. I just don't see owners (at least very many) waiting until day 41 to start recruiting. Let's be honest, most teams have their rosters at or near completion before or during the playoffs. I don't think we will see near the player movement in future offseasons as we saw this offseason due to the fact ABL will have been around.

Why not? They could easily buy a regular team and then sell their casual team, but they can't sell their casual team and buy a regular team?

I could see that. Especially with the fact that regular owners may have some real life issues arise that won't allow them to focus on game planning as much.
