Oberon Bulls: HA! Wiki says: "Oberon (also spelled Auberon) is a legendary king of the fairies in medieval and Renaissance literature."

The Oberon comes from the favorite beer of our initial owner who had the team for 5-6 seasons and the new owner, another USF alum has just kept it all the same.

Our team was started after my old college roommate and I had a bad experience with an owner on here and decided to do it "our way." We extended invites to personal friends and members of www.thebullspen.com which is the message board for the University of South Florida. Or initial season which was 3 or 4, can't remember, we decided to start the team which we took over in AAA with ONLY players who were made/owned by members of that board. Though we filled the roster, as you can imagine we were significantly overwhelmed as many of us made new dots for the team. So that's where the "Bulls" come in and you'll see by the field, colors, jerseys still wore by some all are reflective of USF. Of course many of them eventually retired and we've now extended out to non USF agents.

True to our name, we've had some great seasons where we did about everything right and then we followed it up with some real hangovers!

We're coming off a real kick in balls type season. Went 15-1 losing to London by 3 in the regular season and then three games into the playoffs switching the AI only to lose worse vs. leaving it and maybe having the ball bounce our way again. Reminds me of a season awhile back when we went 16-0 in the regular season and then lost to OffTopica in the playoffs (who we beat during the regular season).

So we've had some success, but in the years we've been to the playoffs, we haven't put it all together yet. As an independent team with guys who only have 1 or 2 dots we always seem to scrape together enough money for the next keg!

Good luck this season...
