It is just set on redial, computer shit like this never worked. Now I am determined to prove my point against equal teams with NO AI's.

LOL You may be on to something. That shit is killing me though. We are LOADED on the SR-22's on both sides of the ball. I've got a WR that I can't get the ball to because of shit like this. I'm doing all I can to keep him involved, and utilize him, but I deal with this BS. I just hope the agent doesn't leave us this offseason.

Instead, how about this...

Reduce Silver to 4 leagues and bump Copper back to 16. That should make Silver more competitive and just promote both teams that make the championship game from each of the 4 Silver leagues. On the flip side, with 4 Silver leagues, you have 8 total Silver divisions, so just put one demoted Gold team into each. Everyone knows that the bottom half of the teams in Silver really belong in Copper, so by cutting Silver in half, those bottom teams go back to Copper.

Now for an extra step, have promotions and demotions between Silver & Copper. Demote the bottom 4 teams from each Silver division back to Copper, so that's 32 teams that get demoted. With 16 Copper leagues, just promote both teams in each Copper championship game, which is 32. This makes sure that Silver teams remain at least semi-competitive.

What this does is any team that really isn't trying will get demoted to Copper and remain there. Competitive teams that are not to Gold level will remain in Silver for a set of leagues that will be a lot of fun. And Gold just remains the same. This idea also makes Copper teams that want to be competitive have to earn their promotion rather than just an automatic one, which is meaningless. And lastly, it adds 4 total leagues, allowing more teams for people to run since Pee-Wee often sells out.

I am on board for less Silver leagues. The reason why Stoner thinks that silver is dull is probably due to the fact there are TOO MANY! Copper is just a gimme trophy tbh and Silver depending on your league can be difficult for 6 games (including the playoffs). To encourage better play, make getting into silver harder and staying in it harder.

If you want silver to be competitive then fix silver don't mess with Gold. Gold seems fine to me. And if you think it is that tough then you are game planning way too much.

I like this actually, but I'm still for getting rid of gold altogether ...unless they do somthing about automatically promoting silver champions to gold ...if there was an 'opt out' for those teams to stay in silver, then I would settle for that

If they made opting out of Gold a much cleaner and surer experience than I would think it would be alright to keep Gold league..

as long as they cut silver down to either 4 or 5 leagues... and make it where new owners and 2-14 or worse copper teams don't play in silver, ever.

Plain and simple if you don't wanna go to Gold then don't win your league. But if you got the talent to play in the Gold, you should go. Whining that Gold is too hard is funny. I am sorry but I have no sympathy for you. If you love something you will put the time and effort into it to be great. Should not take some1 that long to gameplan if it is then you are possibly overthinking it.

Trust me I agree its horsecrap but getting rid of Gold imo is horsecrap. Its a great league.

But its just my opinion, Me I hate playing 3 to 5 great games a season, it makes me lazy and not enjoy the game as much. Now that Crib is in Gold its constantly exciting. Instead of mashing just random pee wee teams or CPU teams.

We either need to reduce the size of Silver so there are more competitive teams in it, or create a new league that is positioned between Silver and Gold. Either way, we need something more competitive than Silver currently is, but not to the level of Gold as that can burn people out.
