Last season sim was better than this one. I would rather have an over powered passing game than a boring sim. We were just screwing around last season. And decided before the season to pretty much throw every down. It worked for the most part. Too bad our defense/special teams were awful. But as overpowered as it was it could be stopped and stopped fairly easy. Just see the playoff game we lost.

As good as Dead ED might be I don't care what he did if he would have ran the FS/SS blitz he would have given up a lot of points against us. That was entirely too easy to beat with the right set up which we had last season.

If you had a bunch of players with 20 vision no wonder pump fake fired so many times in that game. Since I know the two of the QB's had 8 and 10 in PF with equipment.

We had decided to back of the pass some and went with less WR's and planned to run the ball more. But still planned on being a passing team. Boy that decision has sucked.........LOL. We just hope not to get demoted now. So that we can adjust the roster and builds next season. Other wise it might be the end of the Pimps. Next season was probably going to be our last anyway and we probably would not spend that in Silver.

Bevo has it right, even not making changes Lunch Box beat FG last season in the AAT... though a pick or two helped us along... I can only imagine if we switched up to the UT style offense we'd have put up 100 points easily...

blitzing the SS/FS all game was a loldefense last season... and the fact that FG did so well in the passing defense is only a clear example of how bad that conference was in passing offense.

Try playing with the Pimps and Boxers with that crap last season... you'd have had a handful and a half...

I agree that it sad for passing enthusiasts in peewee, coz passing doesn't function as well as yas would prefer so far this season ...but to be able to continue a drive easier by passing as a lvl1 dot never seemed like a reasonable compromise for peewee imo ...I agree that passing may be underpowered, but defense is definately not overpowered ...I wouldn't be so quick to condemn the new sim just yet ...let's wait and see around the time the playoffs begin before we start to cast judgement on peewee passing

He has a different philosophy of running his defense unlike mccollums or myself where we run a more position oriented defense which involves doubling, tripling receivers. It doesn't mean it's less effective. I would have to say Dead.Ed is the 2nd best DC in the game and only mccollums is better.

Jkid2 could also be in the mix but I always felt that his biggest strength was in his offense and it was only recently where he figured out the defense part. But yeah I don't see how you can knock on Dead.Ed's DCing skill because he likes to blitz the safeties. He takes a lot of time game planning and there are very few who understands the sim better than him.

Not true, my defense has actually been top 5 in gold since season 15 or something. My offense could be a lot better, I just only gameplanned for 10 minutes a game last season and 20 minutes a game for the playoffs.

Actually, passing is getting worse....HH dropped down from a 50% completion rate to a 30%

Maybe it's builds or OAI? No idea. I know my QB stats are actually getting a bit better, and he's not just a dump it to the HB/FB every single throw thing. Like ManO said, we'll see come playoffs.

I think you have misinterpreted what I said. You are obviously good at both and you had the #1 defense in gold last season. In my opinion, which by the way is nothing to be taken serious of, I felt that your strength was more in offense than defense for most of your career. When I meant by you not in the mix DC wise was in comparison to mccollums and dead.ed. That doesn't mean you don't have an elite D. But I think only recently (S18) your defense was considered the best in PW. Just based on recent performance, you are certainly up there but career wise I just think you fall little short. (no offense)

As for your 20 min per game in playoff, I think I remember clearly from your own words that the game against us was the hardest you ever game plan in your life
