BTW, there are very few teams that can hack it in the WL. There have been some really good teams that go up and struggle to win 2-3 games. Sofia is a prime example. They have/had a great team, but this season, people who don't know them last season have to ask how they made it up there. Getting the Top 32 teams in WL isn't easy to do. I like the process as it is now, you win your league and you get a chance in the WL. Trying to get subjective and say a team in another division deserves to go more is never a good thing.
However, a full double elimination style tournament would be nice. Obviously you can't have every team in every Pro league involved, so again, deciding who gets to play in the tourney might be subjective. There are a lot of pros/cons about it all, but deciding the best way/most fair way is what needs to happen.
I'd agree that there really are only a handful of teams in WL that can hack it. Realistically I dont see Sofia every winning a WL Title, would it be awesome, hell yeah it would be, but this is my 3rd try and I've yet to even get 7 wins in a season with a 6-10 season being our best so far. This season though we are in absolutely the toughest conference in GLB history, and are a few plays away from being 4-5 or 5-4 so we are not as far off as the 2-7 record indicates. We also are 27th in WL in SP Value. But Sofia has improved steadily every season in SP Value and overall quality of dots on the team. I plan to continue improving too. My goal in WL is just to make the playoffs and be competitive. I just know I'll have a fight on my hands in season 20 to try and get back there.
