6 times that play came up -- 1 completion for a .5 yard loss. We have a passing QB and a rushing QB. The rushing QB has enough passing to complete some passes. The passing QB has plenty. Here ya' go.

1) Bad Pass
2) Good play by defender, pass looked good
3) Bad Pass

5) Decent throw, just knocked away by defender
6) Good throw, just bad decision/route progression

So 50% isn't that great. But we are talking about a level 4 rushing QB with only 44 throwing, so it's not unfathomable. Not great, but certainly not broken.

Yes it is broken, you can't just say "bad pass" and dismiss it as a problem. The problem is there is too many "bad passes" passes "knocked away by defender" "bad decision/route progression" and "good play by defender".

There is absolutely no reason a play designed well to attack an obvious hole in a defense should succeed 0/6 times.

I guess my biggest problem is with the Game in Beta. We build are team on day 40 then the game changes once again when the season starts. The same argument was being made when the " Adjustment" was made to the passing. I agree the "Pump fake" was out of control. But for three seasons I have made scrambling QB's as throwers and had very little problem. They didn't have more the 2 SP's in Pump fake. So with the penalty it was like having 11/2.

I was hoping someone would post saying bad pass so I could post this. This is the problem. Sure, the dots are only like level 4 or 5, but so are the defenders. Perhaps that's why the guy is open. It's not a vision issue as the QB clearly sees the open man MOST of the time. It's not a case of feeling a pass rush. No, he's not a pocket passer QB, but 44 in passing with EQ is enough.

Oh, and for the record, not all plays were by the rushing QB.

1 -- passing QB (67 throwing)
2 -- rushing QB
3 -- rushing QB
4 -- rushing QB
5 -- rushing QB
6 -- passing QB

I guess the point being is that the QB shouldn't have to have 60 throwing to make that short pass. Likewise, the QB with 60 throwing shouldn't have to have 48 vision to get off the progression and move elsewhere like the HB in play 6.

- Update method for QB to find open spot to throw to away from defenders
- Add "sweet spot" definitions to every play/route to improve QB timing
- Update and improve method/math involved in QB calculating player risk, improve QB ability to find open/less risky players beyond checkdowns

Alot to these 3 statements in the SIM change log. I admit, I havent scouted the first game this season nor tested or attempted much in the way of passing. But using these 3 statements I would seriously be testing Passing Priority and Putting SP's into Vision and Quick Read with Default Progressions

All of those plays are the reverse slant, in which the WR1 slant is broken for PW...
