With Perma/EDB getting his Tomlinator account banned, I am once again without help at the OC spot. Though probably a blessing in disguise, I still need some help with my offense as I just don't have the time to run a full Gold quality offense solo this season due to the new baby.

I am not looking for a full OC to install their system and fully run the offense, but instead an Asst-OC that scouts the other team's defense and populates 2 packages within my offensive setup for me with about 4-8 plays each; an exposed run package and an exposed pass package. These packages account for about 1/3 of the plays called and the rest of my offense will remain the same.

The only difference between my current auto-pilot offense and last season's offense, other than seasonal tweaks, is these 2 packages, which I just don't have time to populate this season due to the baby.

That's all I need, someone willing to spend a little time before each game and populate these two packages for each game. I would like someone with a good eye at spotting holes in the other team's defense.

Anyone willing to help? For this season only, I should be back for S20.

OK, I found one...

BBird40 from Crib Midgets. He is just helping me for this season and we have something setup so I run the offense when our teams meet. To help him out since his experience in Pee-Wee Gold is limited, I early boosted my offense(sorry Ping). Remember that my goal isn't to win it all this season, but just to stay in Gold, so the early boost should help with that and give BBird40 some breathing room while he is learning.

Its another advantage to owning the whole team yourself. I can't ask my guys, hey boost so we can stay in gold, even though it ends any hope of winning the league.

Can't say I am happy spending the flex to boost early, but my Bears team wont be as good as they had been, so it's worth it to make sure I am not demoted. Winning a championship isn't on my radar this season, I am just making sure I stay in Gold for S20.

I'm not mad you boosted. It's your team, your money, and you have every right to do what you want to do.

But I do feel the need to point out that your excuse for doing so is BS and everyone knows it. You honestly think you'd be in the bottom 4 of the league if you didn't boost your offense today? Seriously?

LOL, like I said, I really don't care that you did it, just be man enough to say that with FT, LSMM, ACS, & SAS coming up that you thought you might win a few more games and help your playoff seeding.

Not many people know that last season when Rizyx was out due to his injury, I came in and quietly ran South Texas Border Patrol for him and ToCKSiC. I installed my auto-pilot defense for the whole season and after some early offensive struggles, installed my auto-pilot offense around mid season. Needless to say, that team barely missed demotion. That worried me that my auto-pilot system was not good enough, hence my hunts for an OC.

Do I honestly think my auto-pilot system on an un-boosted team would cause my demotion, unlikely, but I just don't want to take the chance. If I found an experienced OC, I would not have boosted. Though I think he has a lot of potential, BBird40 isn't very experienced in Pee-Wee and needs some time to learn the ropes, so I boosted the offense he will run to help him and to all but guarantee I won't be demoted. Was the boosting overkill, probably, but I would rather be safe than sorry. I think the boosting proves that I don't have my eye on the championship this season.

Yes my early boosting will help against some upcoming games, no doubt about that. But the teams I am facing over the next 6-8 games didn't play a factor in my decision to boost as the West is very stocked this season and other than HHM going CPU, no stretch of my schedule is harder than another part IMO.

What I think my early boosting will do for me this season is get me into the playoffs where an un-boosted team would likely be a bubble playoff team. Remember, my team isn't going to be as good as previous seasons, and the competition in the West is really good this season. Not making excuses, just giving my reasons for my move, and I am sorry to those teams stung by my decision to early boost.

i highly doubt that any of these guys would have been hitting their report buttons on you man ...it's just not their style!

Perma, stay out of this. I did single him out as he was my next game and his team would be one of the ones that has to face my early boosted team, thus his response was warranted.

I was talking in generalities and for some reason you took offense to it. I'm pretty sure your statement was directed at an individual, hence your use of the word YOU, and there is no doubt that was directed at me.

I'm really not sure why you are harassing me like this. If you go out of your way to troll every team that beats you this season you will be very busy.
