The Washington Gladiator public relations department issued the following statement regarding Dick "Night Train" Lane's recent comments:

Just because Night Train's stats do not support his claims mean nothing. He is by far the best corner on this championship caliber 2-4 team. His pre-game ritual of goat molestation gives him the focus and vision he needs to be an elite corner in this division. The allegations of mental insanity are not true. Well you've already proved your point and yes the Greatest in the game does take off plays, ever heard of Moss or Chad Johnson? Night Train occasionly doesn't feel like trying or wants to hit on the cheerleaders!
