This is interesting b/c of the week 1 match-ups. Crackertown vs BSBR, Chicago vs FG, Dirty vs Maine, SBWL vs LB. I think the east might take all 4 of those games. But then the West's middle tier teams are a lot tougher than the Easts, so they win most of those and I think take the overall 9-7. With only 7 losses, but 4 of them to some of the best teams, that'll make for some interesting standings.

I also put mine in order so you can see what I think about the H2H tiebreakers.

Serious questions--why the lack of love for LSMM? They were a perennial contender in PW Gold and even won a championship. They sell the team and restart at Bronze, have gone 39-1 the last 2 seasons winning Bronze & Copper. Do you seriously think they'll only muster a handful of wins?

I'm not meaning to hype them up, or by any means saying they'll win the whole thing, or even have a home playoff game. But to say they'll only win 4-6 games?

Really think PNP and HH are gonna go 2-14???

The West is stacked. Other than HHM, all the teams have a decent shot. It's possible for PNP to be pretty good and only get 5 wins. Somebody like PNP, Loretto, UT, Crib, ACS, Pain (who are all good teams) will be down in the 4-6 win area just b/c of the competition.

Helsinki will probably have more than 2, but I think they'll have difficult getting very many wins.

And I should say that we typically know the 3-5 teams that are really good and the 1-3 teams that are really bad. After that it is a group of pretty even teams in the middle. Then it becomes a matter of who cares and who gives up. A few teams give up right away and end up at the bottom. Some teams only sort of care and gameplan sometimes and are fringe playoff teams. Almost every team that really cares and gameplans for each game will either make the playoffs or be a game or two out.

There is normally 2-3 teams that really surprise and do very well. There is normally 2-4 teams that suddenly don't care and do poorly. The tough part about now is figuring out who those teams will be.

i would do my predictions but i have no idea who is good and who isnt at this time and as pre season means very little ill stick with just guessing the playoff teams and my own lol

What happened? u have 51 players now.. did rollover auto release some players?

I had an auto release happen a few seasons ago and support fixed it.. it was mid season so they got the ticket handled fast, not sure if they are backed up now though...

No, my OC has been gone since Nov 12th. He was going to test some things in preseason but never showed. He built us the only 2 Qbs and 2 Wrs and teh team is built around what he wanted to run on offense. I couldnt afford to go into the season with sps unspent and no telling if or when he would return. So I released them thinking I could sign my own practice players form my other team. But since they got 100 xp from rollover, I can't sign them. I pmd support hopefuly they will move the 4 players to my team, if not, we are pretty much dead in the water. I meant to do this last night but after installing an entire defense for tagging rushing Qbs in WL, I fell asleep.

BTW- Our kicker passed for a TD this morning so that means we may be Ok, right? lol

damn.. hopefully the support person is in a good mood. They should allow this, shouldn't be a big deal. Still don't understand why we can't sign Level 1 players with XP once the season starts...

Oh man, didnt realize that mccollums was the new HC in CTJ...so its dony and mccollums....

I'm not entirely sure if my entry will still count, I have been on a forum ban and thus couldn't edit it, its still before the games so I don't see why it should be any less valid... I'll make the edit either way as this seems like a fun way to view the season.

I picked you guys to go 6-10, but only based on your history of not boosting. I figured you'd start off very strong (5-3 or 6-2) and then struggle once everyone boosted. Even at that, 6-10 was probably too low, but I do think the competition this season is the best it's been since we (PNM) have been in Gold. I don't see any way you ever get demoted unless you decide to be demoted.
