Agreed.

Looking at it, I can definitely see BDC at #1, although the lack of titles hurts. One season in OPL does not make a team a great OPL team, so Indy is out. BDC, WSI, and Banzai are top 3 all time OPL IMO (the order is debatable, of course). After those three, I like MUV and TIT as possibilities for rounding out the top 5.

I have to disagree.. INDY came into OPL, won and stayed in wl and still represents.
WSI was a very good team, but didn't they leave?

Zeta really was one of the few leagues in GLB that had actual parity in the early days. Where the #8 team had a legitimate shot at winning it all in a given season.

That was when the slow builders started catching up with the season one teams. It got ugly for a lot of veteran teams at that time.

Alpha is shaping up nicely. Both conferences look tough.

Just glad we wont have any 255-0 games this season... except week 1 against whoever we play

Took my first look at the teams in both conferences. They look pretty even, I think.

Should be a ton of close games.

Yes WSI left, but I still consider them one of the top teams ever to be in OPL. Look at their OPL bling.

I have to agree that SoCal is the best OPL team now. They went to WL and have represented our region outstandingly.
This whole thing is like comparing apples to oranges. Im not sure a list could ever be made in correct order. Everyone would have different orders.

I will say. Banzai had won ZETA 5 times to make the championship game. They won 3 Golds during those 5 championship games. Losing some battles to WSI. Zeta was a meatgrinder back then, and Bazai did this WITH SoCal in Zeta. There was no WL back then so who knows what would have happened. We chose to rebuild as the slow build era was taking over the game.

Apples and oranges I tell ya. All I know is.....OPL has had a LOT of GREAT teams come through here. It was a great community of agents on the boards. We all used to have some real fun around here and OPL is still one of my favorite forums to read as it actually has some great content without a bunch of trolls.

also, we will take our lumps for a bit til our roster gets back up to par with the great teams here. Good luck to all.
