To completely block the posting privlages of somebody in the forums (not team forums)?

We have two kids who spam the forums with there nonsense -- always in an attempt to piss off the whole damn neighborhood -- so to speak. I know one of them has been suspended for 48 hours before -- not sure about the other. These two little runts are in BBB #4.

In my experience with over 10 years on various message boards as an administrator and participant the best way to deal with posters that "troll" or try to get a rise out of everyone is simply to ignore it and not even respond. I have seen many message board trolls and if the other members simply ignored their posts and pretended as if that person didn't exist, it normally stops. In the mind of a message board troll, it is no fun any more when no one responds to it.

Just a suggestion.

This is by far, the most effective way to curtail thier activities because they begin to realize that for them to have a conversation with someone, they'll have to be civil about it. They moment, they get out of line, cut them off again.

here's an idea -- actually do something about it. Instead of saying, "hey, ignore so and so" .... do something about it. Actions speak louder than words, do they not?

Not responding is an action. If something pops up that you disagree with, contact a mod for input. We can't be everywhere at once.
