I'd prefer teams don't sign other teams players, but if it happens, it happens. There's not much we can do about it.
We have no way of enforcing this anways. Hopefully teams and players will do the right thing.

I don't see where recalling my scenario from last year was jumping on you, but to each their own. And in regards to the situation last year, the problems I saw were first that the team in question was being gutted, and second, the owner of Fort Worth was listed a a GM of the team in question, and third, the team in question was in a higher league, thus having higher leveled players.

It's my belief that it's a situational type of deal. Some Agents are really cool about handling their business even if they do switch teams. Other Agents are jags and do what they can to screw up their old team.
My personal belief is that Bort should enact a player ethics act. Should a player do something horrendous or have a consistantly shoddy ethics record he would get the phrase WARNING: atop his avatar. On the bottom of the avatar would appear the word TOOL.
That way whenever the jerk was available other owners would have fair warning. Kinda like the Scarlet Letter only more humorous. I honestly think good peeps are good peeps and jags are jags. If a good dude leaves your team he'll be a good person on his new team. If he's a tool he'll be a tool on his new team as well. Why not let everyone know who the garbage is?

If you ask me, I think when a player enters the game, he should be limited to one league only--and not allowed to go to any one of a hundred different leagues.
If they want to pattern it after the NFL, that is.

I 100% agree. This is getting way to overboard. After my guy retires I think I'm going to stop playing this game, guys are just taking this game way to seriously and it's getting really annoying. Ex. "Whew, I'm proud of my guys today, they showed up with their game faces and played with a lot of heart, guts, and determination." Give me a break it's just freaking simulated dots, I understand the game planning and tactics setting aspect and being proud/happy that you came up with a winning strategy is fine, but beyond that the whole "I'm proud of my men, yada, yada, yada" speech is nonsense and just ridiculous, I feel like I'm at some kind of geek convention when reading some(most) of the posts on these forums. I'm mean seriously, do you read some of the threads in the GM/Coordinator section, they want resumes, real life coaching experience where/when/how long/what level, what your record was when you were a coach, what defense-offense you ran, what color socks you wore while coaching...holy shit people, it's just a game and like F8 said all you get is a little bragging rights on this site and a little clip art trophy. Take a step back and relax. Your ruining the game because your trying too hard to be an armchair Owner, GM, Coordinator, Commissioner, Scouting Department, Quality Control Officer, etc.

do you really think anbody in this league evens cares about the garbage that spouts from your fingers to your keyboard everyday?? the only people who dont laugh at you are you teammates... like i said, from the cajuns,... clay, bebsa, and an unnamed clown will make remarks about me on this thread... the rest of my former defense are all my friends and they know that i chose to stay in this league because i love how its run and i made a lot of friends on the cajuns that i can talk to. its comments like that from endiku which made me want to leave in the first place... i have mad respect for clay, he was the first person that i really connected with, and i like bebsa also, and there is no way that clay can deny that during the past 2 season i have sent him numerous pm's explaining how endiku's "ME, ME, ME" and "im the greatest cb in the world" act was starting to wear thin on me.. anytime i posted something on the forums he would come back with ten reasons why he was right and everyone else was wrong and all ten would make no sense... hey endi, why dont you show everybody you post on "how you calculate if you are an elite cb in this league" and show them how great your score came out...
i have always been a TEAM FIRST, respectful and caring teammate and gm to everybody on the louisiana team... i wish any of the former players from the cajuns would come on this forum and agree with that but i understand that they cant make theyre coach and gm look bad by doing so, so i kit with them thru pms, see how they are, how their players are doing... etc... i LOVED that team, when i left, endiku had 5 players on the team... a lvl 17 cb, a lvl 18 ot, a lvl 17 lb and a lvl 14 g and a lower lvl cb... i had 1 player.. a lvl 16 lb... so what was i suppossed to do... stay on a team where i constantly had to listen to a buffoon(however u spell it) tell me "this guy shud be here and my guy should start here and we need to blitz more"... i could go on all nite... i just couldnt listen to the nonsense anymore....
the cajuns plogged into the playoffs last year as a 7 seed and nobody expected them to do anything.. people were picking them to lose to seattle in first round by 30+ points. being in charge of the D, i gameplanned and held seattle to 4 fgs.. we won 13-12, then dallas to a fg and td, we won 12-10, and sacramento to 4 fgs.. we lost 12-9 in the conf. finals... everybody was ecstactic about the first upset... even endiku, until he found out that since he forgot to set his "special teams" tactics, someone had placed starters in their spots... now you would think that after a 7 seed upsets a 2 seed he would be happy, but he freakin went nuts and told everyone to NEVER EVER touch his lineup again.... and the guy is calling me crazy?? okaayy....
look i dont want to feed into your drama anymore than i already have... all 3 of you (including your whole team) know that i would never disclose any information on your team tactics... stop acting like your team is above everyone else's and stop goin to the beach so much, you obviously have some sand in all the wrong places... after consideration, endiku has to be right.. i have to be crazy to feed into this garbage and i was definatley crazy to put up with you for 2 seasons... to my friends on the cajuns (ive already talked with most of you, but the ones that i havent talked to, good luck and we (minn) will see you guys later in the year.. now please just LET IT GO... havers, youre a philly guy like me... what if when andy reid released TO he said ok, but you cant play for the cowboys???? or to trotter..."no redskins".... or to carlos emmons.. Alright, soap opera's over. I'm moving on with my season. I didn't call anyone out on here. Anyone that decided to be defend theirselves, you got your time. Sully, good luck to your team. You got one of my best linebackers on your squad and I lost one of my most devoted GM's. Once again, I only asked if the rest of the league thought such a situation was ethical. It seems the consensus is fine with it, that is fine.

do you really think anbody in this league evens cares about the garbage that spouts from your fingers to your keyboard everyday?? the only people who dont laugh at you are you teammates... like i said, from the cajuns,... clay, bebsa, and an unnamed clown will make remarks about me on this thread... the rest of my former defense are all my friends and they know that i chose to stay in this league because i love how its run and i made a lot of friends on the cajuns that i can talk to. its comments like that from endiku which made me want to leave in the first place... i have mad respect for clay, he was the first person that i really connected with, and i like bebsa also, and there is no way that clay can deny that during the past 2 season i have sent him numerous pm's explaining how endiku's "ME, ME, ME" and "im the greatest cb in the world" act was starting to wear thin on me.. anytime i posted something on the forums he would come back with ten reasons why he was right and everyone else was wrong and all ten would make no sense... hey endi, why dont you show everybody you post on "how you calculate if you are an elite cb in this league" and show them how great your score came out...
i have always been a TEAM FIRST, respectful and caring teammate and gm to everybody on the louisiana team... i wish any of the former players from the cajuns would come on this forum and agree with that but i understand that they cant make theyre coach and gm look bad by doing so, so i kit with them thru pms, see how they are, how their players are doing... etc... i LOVED that team, when i left, endiku had 5 players on the team... a lvl 17 cb, a lvl 18 ot, a lvl 17 lb and a lvl 14 g and a lower lvl cb... i had 1 player.. a lvl 16 lb... so what was i suppossed to do... stay on a team where i constantly had to listen to a buffoon(however u spell it) tell me "this guy shud be here and my guy should start here and we need to blitz more"... i could go on all nite... i just couldnt listen to the nonsense anymore....
the cajuns plogged into the playoffs last year as a 7 seed and nobody expected them to do anything.. people were picking them to lose to seattle in first round by 30+ points. being in charge of the D, i gameplanned and held seattle to 4 fgs.. we won 13-12, then dallas to a fg and td, we won 12-10, and sacramento to 4 fgs.. we lost 12-9 in the conf. finals... everybody was ecstactic about the first upset... even endiku, until he found out that since he forgot to set his "special teams" tactics, someone had placed starters in their spots... now you would think that after a 7 seed upsets a 2 seed he would be happy, but he freakin went nuts and told everyone to NEVER EVER touch his lineup again.... and the guy is calling me crazy?? okaayy....
look i dont want to feed into your drama anymore than i already have... all 3 of you (including your whole team) know that i would never disclose any information on your team tactics... stop acting like your team is above everyone else's and stop goin to the beach so much, you obviously have some sand in all the wrong places... after consideration, endiku has to be right.. i have to be crazy to feed into this garbage and i was definatley crazy to put up with you for 2 seasons... to my friends on the cajuns (ive already talked with most of you, but the ones that i havent talked to, good luck and we (minn) will see you guys later in the year.. now please just LET IT GO... havers, youre a philly guy like me... what if when andy reid released TO he said ok, but you cant play for the cowboys???? or to trotter..."no redskins".... or to carlos emmons.. Im sorry but I never seen Mavs as doing anything wrong so from what I did see Id have to say that Enkidu was the asshat not Mavs. Not sure 100% what happened but its bullshit either way.
I think Mavs was screwed over either way and when you released him you didnt make any deal saying he couldnt sign back to a team here. If you didnt want him in BBB^ you should have traded him elsewhere.
