1. You're not CV- he's the wise one on MEM IMO.
2. There's been a lot more team movement than that. Proof that the wisdom thing doesn't run through everyone on MEM.

Avatar bet that my HB outgains all of the 8 mile HB's in their game against each other(not combined). Trust me, I don't pussy out on avatar bets, as nerdy as that sounds.

That is not an avatar bet I want to make....I could shut down your back completely to insure I win the bet, but it could expose us to other threats and cost us the game.......not to mention the fact that MEM has at least a top 5 rush defense if not the #1.

You made the statement that 8 Mile would not make the playoffs....and I challenged you on it. If you do not want to make that avatar bet I completely understand. I will just take it as you mis-spoke and after rethinking it, decided that you may have been wrong.

FWIW last season 8 Mile started out predicting they'd finish 6th and they finished 10th. This with a pretty veteran roster. Maybe they are outside looking in again or maybe they squeeze into a late playoff spot for a quick one and done. Either way the team likely folds after this upcoming season as they are OLD. Why are we even discussing 8 Mile again?

NO chance we're folding- enough roster moves have been made so we're here for the long haul. Team chem sucks right now, so hopefully we get a bit of a break the 1st half of the schedule.

SLY - last season was 8 Miles first in USAPL and considering we started the season with TC at 47 I think we put forth a respectable showing...yeah 10th is not where we wanted to be, but one and done??? Get used to hearing 8 Mile.

CV-Can't wait to see the rankings, should be a really fun season.


LONGHORNFAN-Did not say anything about my team not being good enough, just stated I was not willing to focus on one player to win a lol avatar bet at the expense of exposing the team for a loss. btw Hook'em !!!!


On a side note, I have the utmost respect for MEM....5 Pro League championship games is nothing to overlook, and #1 rushing and #1 rush D in WL is stout. Don't confuse confidence in my team/players for lack of respect for our opponents.

8 mile also predicted that ketchikan wood finish eleventh last seeson and reluctantly admitted that we somehow backdoored into tha playoffs after we locked up a home playoff game so i woodnt start despairin just yet
